Fantastic result and performance last night, 5 points clear at the top of the Premier league, top of the champions league table and still in both domestic cup competitions. Not bad going by anyone's standards and given the number of injuries we have had in the first half the season I think we've done and a are doing absolutely brilliant to be where we are right now.
We've had to play without virtually every one of our outfield players at times this this season but because of our squad strength we've come through those times and are still leading the way on all fronts, the positives far far out weight the negative and long may it continue.
Happy New year to all the Eds and poster's alike ?.

Morning 84 an excellent result last night and a second half to be proud of. I`m hoping MA/players have learned as we had poorish second performances v Brighton Palace Wolves and Chelsea. We are gearing up to a good 90 mins. Considering Dec and Calafiori not ready the bench was outstandingly strong. Expecting this to tell over latter part of season.
Zubimendi fast becoming my favourite player along with Fury. Exciting times and for City Sunderland at home are no push overs No alcohol please Black Cats! Happy New Year to all posters and all Eds and Happy Hogmany to Sy and Sharpie COYG
PS Regarding Odegaard he`s excellent and remember form is temporary and class is permanent.

Hi Berkshire, I think most people would accept we haven't seen the best of this Arsenal team/squad yet and at times we have played well within our capabilites but yet we are still leaders of the pack at home and abroad.
We would all like to see the team firing on all cylinders as we did last night and again Bayern in every game, whether that is humanly possible even when we are at full strength remains to be seen but personally I'm very satisfied with the position we are currently in and very excited about what the second half of season might have in store for us.
{Ed025's Note - when Arteta takes the brakes off you look a really good side G62, it has to happen a bit more for me though mate especially against the lesser teams, its just so frustrating at times because you certainly have the players to do that..

Hi Ed025 the way Arteta set us up against Liverpool was particularly upsetting but in the main i think its our player's not creating enough quality chances or taking enough of the chances that are created that causes the frustration.
A little more composure in front of goal and a few more quick passes that cut open defences wouldn't go a miss and i'm my opinion that is a player problem once on the pitch rather than a manager problem who in all honesty often looks every bit as frustrated as the rest of us.
Happy New year Ed025 mate ?.
{Ed025's Note - yeah you too G62, i would love the gunners to win it mate but i want to see them do it in style, take the handbrake off and demolish teams like in the second half against Villa and shut up the nay-sayers who think its a house of cards and all based on set pieces, you have the players to do that mate..
