An interesting perspective on Gykores. going to check next time but it's being reported he draws the full backs to him to allow more space. I like that observation ?

Hi Sally, hope all is well.
If I was Gyokeres I would be knocking on the managers door. He must be wondering what he has done wrong, he gets very little service, Jesus touched the ball more when he came on.
We don't play the right style for VG to be a top goal scorer hence my comment about not scoring 20 PL goals in a season.
Interesting to hear others thoughts on it all.

Both the team and the player himself has to adapt and adjust their previous styles of play, if the team has to adapt 100% to accommodate an out and out striker we will lose more than we gain especially if VG became unavailable again.

At the moment I think we're seeing the limitations of VG's touch, the ball doesn't really stick to him like it does with Jesus. I think the main thing he's missing is just to attack the box a little better when the wide men have it. He works hard and plays for the team, so he'll continue to get minutes to show his worth.

Hi Wire i think Mikel and his team will work on VGs weaknesses and get him to play to his strengths within this team. What a signing Noni has been and few of us foresaw how good he would be for us, but obviously Mikel and his backroom team must have seen what most of us couldn't see.
I really admired Mikel at the time for doing what he believed to be right despite the knowledge he'd get slated for singing another Chelsea player and i'm as pleased for Mikel as i am Noni how good a decision singing him has turned out to be.
