Last season Premier league champions City were going really well in the league and looking good value to retain their title, until they suffered their first league defeat of the season quickly followed a few days later by a shock champions league defeat, before going into freefall for the rest of the season.
I'm not saying that Liverpool fans should definitely be worried about the same thing happening to their team, but football does have a funny habit of repeating itself ????.

Maybe g62, but all the same I think their ability to take points in the league despite not playing too well means that the title run will be a close thing whoever wins it. They go hell for leather for the last 30 minutes of every game - something we are only now learning to do.

Blessings in disguise, liverpool will go through a lot more hurdles this season the media looks like they are already sharpening their knives, and i don't believe liverpool will be able to sustain another season. As long as we sort our medical team I am very optimistic about this season.

I watched their last two games and not only did they lose but they were actually abysmal. Although, last season they didn't play well and walked the league, so I wouldn't write them off yet (;

Everybody goes through a bad patch and drop points, we need to capitalise on it and hold our side of the bargain to get the points we need. Last three seasons we have dropped points when we absolutely had to win towards the business end of the season and that has cost us. We need to be as perfectly consistent as possible throughout the season.
