Right boys and girls, we are at the right back position

I've gone for Lee Dixon, a great all round full back.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dixon or Viv Anderson for me mate.

26 May 2020 14:21:33
I liked Viv a lot, but Lee just edges it, because he was a longer serving player.

26 May 2020 17:32:34
One and only Debuchy for me lads. 13 appearances 1 goal. GOAT 🐐.

26 May 2020 17:45:04
Pat Rice for me club legend in my humble opinion COYG.

26 May 2020 21:40:46
No sorry boys I've changed my mind, it's absolutely got to be Bacary Sagna for me, for my money he had to be the best right back around at that time and stuck by the Arsenal even though times weren't brilliant when he could have joined almost any other club he'd wanted too at that time. and only left in the end because we refused to give him the last pay day he'd well and truly earned with us. Can't believe I forgot him earlier on.
Nailed on definitely Seaman Sagna Cole at 1 2 3 for me.

26 May 2020 23:19:49
Seaman, Sagna, Cole, Keown and Sol = that’s my defence

Big shock dropping Adams but there’s enough leadership in that back 4 plus pace.

27 May 2020 20:16:12
Seaman Sagna Cole Adams Campbell for me mate.
Big Tony was Mr Arsenal, excellent defender and a leader who lead by example. He organised and demanded from everyone around him like no other I've seen. I just can't imagine anyone playing along side him even thinking of shirking thier personal or collective responsibilities.

27 May 2020 22:20:46
For me Keown is the best man marker and with the quality of the top strikers out there. I can’t leave him out plus he brings leadership, winning mentality and fear factor - no hiding place with him.

So that left me Sol or Adams. For me Sol won it on pace especially given today’s game. Great on the ball, big presence and great in air - he was a leader also.

Hence Tony didn’t make it - tough call. I know.

Didn’t realise we had got to CB yet

I see SY4 has spoilt yet another thread.

28 May 2020 10:55:36
Lauren rb for me.

28 May 2020 21:02:53
Sorry Malaga - I will remember to value longevity and loyalty over quality and stick to the topic. I got excited and drifted off piste.

28 May 2020 21:50:07
Just be yourself SY even if that means being a wine drinking Tory hairest:-) . Longevity and loyalty are excellent values but quality has to be taken into consideration or its just an old boys club where Wilshere has higher standing than Bergkamp Henry and Vieira. It's always about ballance and personal opinions.

Eboue, hands down.

29 May 2020 16:05:22
Apart from one horrible game I thought Eboue was ok Jack, when people say a player had the game of their life where everything they did was spot on brilliant that day poor old Eboue showed it was possible to have the complete opposite game too.
Felt so sorry for him that game.
