So. beat the spuds, 3 points and left Morinho red faced, awesome Sunday!
We should go on a run for the next 16 games and end the season on a high to look forward to a new season. As I said 2 days ago, if we beat spuds, Arteta can get one more year 😃
The reason I have come to this conclusion is looking back at the whole season, we have missed so many great chances to score and so many times hit the woodwork that had we been a little more fortunate, things and our position could have been different, same goes at the other end, had we not made the mistakes at the back things could have been different.
Some tweaks next season and a little more consistency will return a great season.
Tweaks:
1. Get rid of Willian
2. Play Martinelli more along side Saka and ESR
3. Sign Odegard permanently
4. Sign a decent young striker
5. Replace Leno
We have enough fringe players to fund the above incomings.
Consistency should be our watchword for the next 2 months.

Let's see what happens v West ham Liverpool and between now and game 38.
It's easy to over react to a great win or a poor defeat, take the season as a whole and we are still only 3/ 4 of the way though it yet.
Finish really strong and making a change would be crazy, as would finishing 10th and just carrying on no questions asked just because we beat Spurs.
If you got all the first 3 numbers on the lottery would you ring your boss and tell him where to stick his Job or maybe wait and see what happened with the last 3 numbers before committing yourself 100% 😎.

Fair point gunner, I have been on the fence about Arteta right from the beginning but looking at the overall season and what could have been, it may not be entirely on him that we are where we are.
I start and end my post with. going on a run from now until the end and consistency being the watchword, but even if we don't achieve this, will the management make the change?

I don't think Leno needs replacing, I think he needs stiffer competition and less faffing about. He's a world-class shot stopper and his only real mistakes have been errant passing.
I also don't think we need to sign a striker, if we let Lacca go I would rather that went to Gabi and Balogun if he stays, or potentially Pepe through the middle.

I don't think the board will make a change Fanatic mate regardless I'd we finish 6th 10th or 14th.
Personally I think like Emery Arteta will get the start of next season regardless of how this season ends.
I know Emery finished 5th and just missed out on CL both in the league and EL but the writing was on the wall and plain to see he wasn't going to be the man to rejuvenate Arsenal long before his second season kicked off.
Let's see where this season ends before saying Arteta is the next Emery or the next Pep, ;we will all be able to have a much more educated view by game 38.
