So Freddie is at the helm [ good luck] What do you think is an acceptable level of performances? We don't look anything like top 4 currently but, would be happy to see us at very least looking more solid at the back.
If we make top 4 i'd be amazed on current form but, for me that would be a decent season considering.

To be fair at the start of the season we were all talking about top 3 or 4 but looking back in all honesty that was all based on potential and wishful thinking rather than anything solid or tangible.
Apart from against Nottingham forest reserves when have we really played well this season?
We have some good players but we are not and haven't been a good team for a good few years now, great club but not anything close a great team for a very long while now.

I would like to feel he has a free period or clean slate to try a few things without massive pressure to get results. I hope we see obvious changes to the way we have been playing, whether it works or not. I hope Freddie remembers how a successful team can play, who get the ball back to front quickly, who attack down the wings with pace, all built on power through the middle. I hope we defend better, with two tight banks of 4. However what I don’t expect is that he plays the exact same players as the previous two managers, who have continually proved to be sub standard, namely Xhaka and Mustafi, and I was shocked to see them both in the starting xi today. Surely Freddie must understand the goodwill/ blank slate will erode quickly if he keeps picking the same clowns that helped cost the previous managers their jobs?

Maybe just maybe he knows something we don't so is free from constraints of pressure and having to please everyone?
Maybe he's thinking I wonder! And giving it a go?
We will find out Thursday if unlike Arsene and Emery he's open to seeing what is there rather than what he would like to be there.
