Good day to all Ed's and fellow gunners, hope alls good. news outlets reporting hincapie on way to London season long loan with option to buy with 5 year deal lined up if we activate the deal reported to be for around £45 million. THE DON?️ strikes again. ???.
1.) 30 Aug 2025 18:01:56
So Havertz is injured and we need another forward…….
2.) 02 Sep 2025 08:25:02
Very annoyed Isak wasn’t interested in us and we lost Rodrygo because of wages (that I’m happy about)
3.) 03 Sep 2025 05:14:30
Fees for Isak Prohibitive, Rodrygo unproven in the EPL.
4.) 04 Sep 2025 07:21:25
We enquired about both. Isak wasn’t interested and Rodrygo was after £350k per week which I agree for a player who could be flaky was far too big a gamble.
23 Aug 2025 16:18:57
Eze has passed his medical. done deal. berta THE DON?️ strikes again. ???.

Evening all Ed's and fellow gunners, hope all's well. was just reading an article. (don't know if there's real truth in it) . stating that we are considering taking Leroy sané from Bayern when he's contract expires making the 28 year old winger a free transfer. (really hefty wages though, reportedly on £320grand a week at Bayern) . I personally feel if Arteta can get the best out of him, he'd be a solid addition to our squad. just wondered what you guys may think. if he's worth a go with the gunners.? . ?⚪️❤️.
{Ed002's Note - Leroy Sane (W/AM) Bayern Munich are open to a new contract but financial expectations are far apart. I expect Middle East might be a viable solution with Al Nassr. Newcastle has a declared interest. Liverpool were, and may still be, keen to take him as a Salah replacement. I would not rule out Arsenal taking him, as they do have interest. Free agent in the summer, but huge wage demands.}

Cheers Ed 002, thanks for insight, ✌?& ??.

Morning all Ed's and fellow gunners, hope alls well. nice home win yesterday. very comfortable throughout. in all honesty thought West Ham may have offered a bit more with new manager bounce and being a north v east London derby. could have and should've had more goals. so still a bit more improvement to be had on our behalf. one moment in the game caught my eye, and i thought it really showed the unity in our squad and a real bit of class from trossard. eze missed a sitter and Leo was on him in a flash. come on mate keep your head up. everyone is there for each other. love it. will say gutted for odegaard taking another knock. he was just starting to look like he was really finding his form. hope rice gets over his problem during the break. and lastly just wanted to say zubimendi different class. COYG/ VTH ?⚪️❤️.
1.) 05 Oct 2025 11:13:45
I noticed that as well Gabi and thought the same.
2.) 05 Oct 2025 13:13:23
Hammers whining about Rice being disrespectful. GET LIFE I SAY.
He’s moved onto bigger and better things and still shows you respect despite Hammers giving him ?.
3.) 05 Oct 2025 15:04:04
I've never minded the Hammers, and if Arsenal ever ceased to exist, it would be a toss up between them and Palace I think as to who I would lean towards supporting. I wanted them to win the Conference thing when they did, but I was also surprised to hear some of their supporters 'gloating' about us finishing second again last year.
I'm sure they were singing with (Man Citeh? ) about that and cheering for City goals as they went in against them as it put the nail in our coffin. I may have it wrong who they were playing though.
I thought the two clubs got on Ok and there is the obvious hatred with Spurs we share. Do any other Gunners fans like or dislike West Ham? Or if any West Ham fans read this, what are your thoughts regarding The Arsenal?
4.) 05 Oct 2025 15:18:50
Regarding any set of football fans the world over… if your big enough to give it the large… then you got to have the minerals to take it… West Ham fans have a nerve… Declan has always shown respect towards them. if it was me and they gave me the crap they give him… I’d knee slide towards them with my shirt over my face ravanelli style. (a lot of you will remember ravanelli, some younger posters won’t. ) . so it was nice to see decs give a little back. about time… I remember adebayor running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of us, absolutely hated it at the time. but understood the emotion. we had been slating him, and yes some of it was not pleasant at all… but guess what…. life goes on. he seems a pleasant enough bloke so no hard feelings. if you dish it, be big enough to take it… I love the banter at football….
5.) 05 Oct 2025 15:19:06
I was cheering for them to win too….
6.) 05 Oct 2025 20:17:59
You have summed it up in a nutshell Gabi mate.
If you can't take it don't dish it out.
28 Sep 2025 21:18:34
JUSTICE SERVED. Excellent away win at what's been a tricky venue for us the last few years. thought we played well. especially when we play the quick attacking one touch football (hand brake off) . only 2points off the top and a long way to go. Liverpool have Chelsea next week after we play West Ham, who we definitely should not take lightly as they have a bit of a habit of upsetting the apple cart. we've got to do a number on them and take the top spot before the evening game and put some pressure on the rest. COYG/ VTH. ?⚪️❤️.
1.) 29 Sep 2025 04:01:41
Re: the handbrake thing, just shows that it's not just about the players as Merino was the gamechanging sub today. Really good at linking the play and pushing us forward, then a top-drawer glancing header for the equaliser.
Loved to see the rest of the lads tell him to get his arse back to the centre circle as well so we could find the winner!
28 Sep 2025 11:35:51
Eddie ⚽️?& Danny ⚽️⚽️??yesterday. once a gunner always a gunner ? it's now up to us to do the business today. COYG/ VTH. ?⚪️❤️.
1.) 28 Sep 2025 13:11:30
Hello Gabi hope you and everyone are well.3pts today is a must. Chelsea playing Liverpool next week where as we have a game against the Hammers which no disrespect to them we should win which would take us into the international break top of the prem
Take care Gabi.
2.) 28 Sep 2025 13:51:58
Playing Newcastle under Eddie Howe is almost always a really tough game to get 3pts from, but if we are going to be champions its a game where we have be brave and go for those 3pts from start to finish.
Mikels over cautious approach against Liverpool and City has raised a question mark about whether he has the mentality to take us that final step up from challengers to champions even amongst many fans who have previously backed him, hopefully his approach today will go a long way to easing people's concerns about him and his ability to see the excellent job he's done at Arsenal up to now to its ultimate conclusion.
I have no doubts about our excellent squad/ teams capability to win one or both of the big trophies on offer i just hope Arteta gets to the manager who leads us to them.
20 Sep 2025 15:42:45
Good afternoon all Ed's and fellow gunners, hope alls well, just wanted to say I have just watched an excellent interview ally macoist meeting Mikel Arteta at our training ground. absolutely fascinating. if you take a step back and remember where we were when Mikel took on his very first managerial job. the mighty Arsenal. (they don't come much bigger) .
we were in a proper mess people used to take the p'$$ out of us Arsenal banter f.c. he came in to help sort out the club he loves the most. he asked us to trust the process which we have. he got rid of all the dead wood and blood sucking leeches that were draining the life out of our great club . he re instilled discipline and self belief through out and has put his heart and soul into rebuilding us back up. to bring back the glory days.
We have a great young squad now full of depth and quality which has just as good a chance of silverware as any of the others. we are very very close to possibly becoming the dominant force in English football and a team the rest of Europe will be sitting up and taking massive notice of. we also have to acknowledge that other teams in and around us and few lower down the league have also invested well in what is the toughest league in world football so nothing is a given.
yes my friends it is time Arsenal won some trophies. but if it doesn't happen this season I personally still think Arteta has enough credit to carry on. based on where he has taken us from and to where he has taken us to. and trust me when I say, when Mikel and this squad he's assembled gets the first one over the line. they will believe that together they can achieve anything and the dominance will commence. and all of us Arsenal fans will rejoice a new era. win, lose or draw, as long as we all stick together and back our club 100% we will all be playing our part in the process. and helping breed the success. COYG/ VTH ?⚪️❤️.
1.) 20 Sep 2025 18:30:28
He’s done a great job but with 900m spent and ignoring blatant holes - pressure should be on. I expect a trophy with that amount spent and th3 league has been there to be lost and he did. He needs to get a striker and start attacking more like a big club. Acknowledge he’s worked wonders but he did clear out a lot of goal scorers and creative players to leave us blunt up front. He also manages as if we are a 2nd rate team happy to waste time and pass backwards against big teams or if we go one up. Also made some terrible / very average signings. Wenger had a load less money and still delivered silver in his last 5 years. Arteta must deliver and start getting us playing like he believes we are a big team. It’s silver ( I don’t mean second again ) or bust.
2.) 20 Sep 2025 21:23:01
Hi sy hope alls well buddy. you make some very valid points… just a question for you if arteta and the arsenal do not deliver any trophies this year do you think he will be gone. if answer is yes…who would you think we would go for as his replacement.? . as if he was to leave or be sacked come what may. there would be an absolutely massive decision to make. and it would need to be the correct one 100% to make sure of progression and not regression.
p. s just wanted to say if we play handbrake off football we have every chance of winning something. it’s just wether or not Mikel is willing to go for it. COYG/ VTH.
3.) 21 Sep 2025 09:14:35
Hi Gabi. Liverpool fan in peace here. I do share the same sentiments as SY. I think Arteta has spent an absolute fortune to get the players and to mould the team to play the way he wants. So he has to start delivering silverware. While it's true that Arsenal is in a better place now than when he took over, he should be achieving way more than just second place in the league. This season, he should at least be winning some silverware and if he doesn't, then it is time to look elsewhere if you want to progress. Iraola is a good option if you ask me since he constantly has Bournemouth punching above their weight and is doing relatively well this season after losing their first choice keeper and 3 out of four of their first choice defenders.
4.) 21 Sep 2025 10:18:45
Morning dracred hope alls good. fair point. I personally feel if we can stay relatively clear of injuries this season then the title is between Liverpool and the arsenal. regarding silverware from an Arsenal point of view…we just need that first one as a squad to install the real we can do it winners mentality. just like Liverpool had to with klopp in recent history. in the last 3 years of finishing 2nd we let two title chances slip through our fingers, last season there was other elements firstly we had probably our worst season injury wise and not the squad depth. the squad depth has in my eyes finally been sorted out. so fingers crossed we shouldn’t be risking so much over use of certain individuals hence lessoning such risks. so yes I totally agree with both you and sy that we should be winning silverware now. (I did put in my original post that it’s time we was doing so) . and I think we are now more capable it’s up to Arteta to let the handbrake off and get us to go out do our stuff. then only time will tell. regarding an arteta replacement which is something I have not given much thought as I have been a trust the process kinda guy. (would love to win something with Arteta because of all his hard graft and what the arsenal means to him) . But if he’s gone at the end of the season, the guy from Bournemouth who you mentioned is a decent shout. good speaking to you dacred and of course sy. take care guys enjoy the rest of your weekend.
5.) 21 Sep 2025 10:31:18
We have a manager.
6.) 21 Sep 2025 10:39:58
Hi - crazy week and not been on here not for any other reason than being busy. I am very good Gabi - been away and enjoying the weekend. Hope you are well.
7.) 21 Sep 2025 11:50:23
Hi Gabi - I did reply to you. Hope you are well. You good?
I hope he gets there and if he changes and starts making change in style and tactics. Gets a bit aggressive about winning then I’d give him amother year even if 2nd as long as I see the intent. I really like the guy and appreciate what he’s done. But why do all that, walk up the path but too timid to knock in the door.
If we are still playing as we are and set up as we are. If we come 2nd. We change
I have zero fear of change as we are a great club. Why fear change if I don’t see the skills to win.
Liverpool kicked on fine so will we.
Who do you think?
I saw you want silverware ??.
8.) 21 Sep 2025 14:43:42
Hi sy. alls good. I really want arteta and the lads to get the first one over the line and move on to bigger and better things together with us lot the fan base backing them all the way. and I would definitely give Arteta another season or two even if we fall short again. I genuinely think we are that close. but if he did go (I hope not) . I really don’t know who we would go for. it really is something we would have to get right. we have Mikel and I back him and the boys 100% good times are going to come. COYG/ VTH?⚪️❤️.
9.) 21 Sep 2025 15:19:02
Glad all good and hear you about Arteta.
Hope he gets us there but if he doesn’t start trying to win then he will never win the league so the risk of change is small. The opportunity list is great. Who cares if we change and come third - better to try to win than play safe and only ever come second.

Just wanted to say R. I. P Ricky Hatton ? shocking news only 46 years of age. great little fighter and a great guy outside the ring. one of englands true sporting icons.

Morning sy, hope alls well…. Big thumbs up on timber. what a player. also think Riccy fury has been quietly and efficiently going about his business on the opposite side of defence. the mad thing is that once this squad really gets to know each others game. some teams are going to be getting thumped by the ARSENAL. I was looking at the difference between last season’s bench and yesterday’s. the difference in quality is absolutely nuts… COYG/ VTH ?⚪️❤️.

Everyone has their opinion on arsenals greatest player. Henry is known as the king and well deserved title. but my favourite player who 100% helped Henry achieve what he did for our great club. was the genius, the one and only bergkamp when you watched him on t. v he was great. but when you watched him in the flesh at Highbury you realised… the pure genius he was. absolute mustard….

“Oi” John… which way is Holland…. ”HOLLAND”. ”ITS THAT WAY” ??…. See Rodney…” if you don’t know “ you just got to ask……”ALBERT HOLLAND IS THAT WAY”… and don’t give me any of that captain birdseye cobblers…⛴️?⚓️???.
