Evening all Ed's and fellow gunners, hope all's well. was just reading an article. (don't know if there's real truth in it) . stating that we are considering taking Leroy sané from Bayern when he's contract expires making the 28 year old winger a free transfer. (really hefty wages though, reportedly on £320grand a week at Bayern) . I personally feel if Arteta can get the best out of him, he'd be a solid addition to our squad. just wondered what you guys may think. if he's worth a go with the gunners.? . ?⚪️❤️.

Newcastle has a declared interest. Liverpool were, and may still be, keen to take him as a Salah replacement. I would not rule out Arsenal taking him, as they do have interest. Free agent in the summer, but huge wage demands.}

I am so pissed off Ed, we look so fragile mentally. There, s no game changer tactics despite the squad we got. The slow build up and passing sureminds me of Wenger's later days, a lot of passing and nothing else. Apart Spurs and Villa we have not played well in the Prem.
{Ed025's Note - its torture to watch at times Bill, you have a lot of very good players mate but this tactic of pass for passing,s sake does my head in, even when you were one down in injury time the keeper and defenders were playing little triangles in your own penalty area, i have always said i wanted Arsenal to win the title again but this anti-football you are playing is putting me right off i must say..

Morning all Ed’s and fellow gunners, reflecting on last night’s game. missed a massive opportunity to go 8 points clear. in my opinion, that Liverpool team were there for the taking. Fair play to them they came for a draw and got one. if ever a game needed a goal to spark it in to life. it was that one last night. I’m an honest fan. second half was very very poor from us. yes we gained a point but dropped two huge points. we got to dust ourselves off and move on. big improvement needed after that second half performance. I’m off to Fratton park on Sunday for cup game and I’m very much so looking forward to seeing our back up players try and impress and make a claim towards why they deserve a few more chances. on to the next one/one game at a time. COYG/VTH ?⚪️❤️.

Hi Gabi,
It wasn’t a great game and we were not up to the pace. I was afraid that the narrative to the build up of this game “Liverpool are there for the taking” will impact our performance and that’s what happened, they are a good team and wasn’t going to be as easy as everyone was talking about, including the pundits.
However, a point against Liverpool is a good point, it could have been worse, I was terrified when Szoboszlai lined up for those two free-kicks! We need to rest and get back on the pitch to win the next game, the margins are very tight but we will do it this time.

I expected Arsenal to come at us from the start but good ol' reserved Arteta came to make sure you didn't lose.
We are not at it this season and had Isak, Salah and Eki all missing to further weaken us yet you played us on our name not what was on the pitch. There was 20 mins in the first half where I thought we'd get a hiding but after that you just retreated in your shell. And it wasn't particularly great from Arsenal I just am not particularly optimistic at the minute!
City are only 6 points back with a game against you, and last night was a huge chance to put one hand on the trophy. Now I think you have given City a whiff of a chance and they may smell blood. City have chased this before so it wouldn't be surprising to see them do it again.
If you don't win it this year, I'm not sure when you do but Arteta has to be brave and take the opportunities as they come. Title races are often swung on moments, and if you took the game to us and won. Most would have considered it over.

Personally i feel liverpool have struggled against lesser opponents and low blocks this season, and are still a quality outfit - they were just as bad last year scraping scrappy wins when everyone was singing their praises. I don't enjoy this hand break football, I've fallen asleep numerous times watching us this season, but it's working pretty well thus far.
For the "best league in the world', it was a dire watch.

Evening Ed025 hope all’s well. I said the same thing relating to strength on the bench just before the match to my youngest son. It’s a nice feeling to have when you look at the bench and think…wow that’s strong. plus deco starting the guy is a machine.

Evening Highbury hope alls well. I wish we would take shots from edge of opposition penalty area. there’s been countless opportunities for us to do so throughout this season, we just seem to always look for an extra pass. other teams do it and profit from it. We just don’t seem to do it as much as other teams. it’s a little frustrating to be honest.

Hi sy hope alls good. whatever way we look at it yes 2 points dropped. but as city and villa both lost gaining 0 points each, and we drew…1 point is a point gained on our nearest challengers. that 1 point could be huge come what may. just as much as 2 points dropped could be equally as significant. but we won’t know either way until they’re all totted up at the end off the season. we will, as will everyone else drop more points before the end of the season.
We just got to keep going mate, and try to improve for the next one and the one after that. was reading a stat yesterday saying we have 15 points more than last season from corresponding fixtures which isn’t to shabby…and although we could be 9 points clear… (gutted we’re not) . 7 points clear is better than 6…. 2 points dropped? 1 point gained ? . ✌?&?? ?⚪️❤️.
