Please don't let Chelsea buy ESR - I can't imagine a more crap bit of business except maybe Luis. ESR goes to Chelsea and we get Kai as part of a No 10 transfer within the same window. They get a player that cares and puts a shift in, British and knows the goal is while we get F-ing Kai.

Please don't this happen as we've only just got rid of lazy overpaid players in a number of peoples eyes, reduced our wage bill yet we now have the laziest and couldn't give a crap player on the highest wage at the club. Now playing players out of position to accomodate him and he repays the faith with an absolute crap dividend.

ESR going in the other direction would just take the biscuit. Please don't say this is true.

This is really bad news if true. I've got a horrible feeling if ESR and Gabi both go it will unsettle the team.

@SY4 and gunns4ever that would be gutting if it happens. That would be poor business on our part.

Ed002 has mentioned in the rumours page that his representative intimated ESR would leave if there were more players brought in for his position.

On the premis we won`t sell Kai Havertz ( not withstanding don`t think many would buy right now) would anyone be willing to let ESR and Eddie go along with Balogun - surely £90 mill -if we bought Osimhen? Jesus as back up and keep Gabriel, just for fun COYG Very reluctantly I would mainly to keep Sharpie quiet haha!

{Ed002's Note - You are in some sort of fantasy world.}

I like Smith Rowe and initially thought he could be an internal replacement for Xhaka, but now he seems to be way down the picking order. If he wants to go and someone offers good money i can understand why we would sell.

Definitely Ed002! I asked you about Osimhen on rumours page and you correctly said we had no chance which I acknowledged further up the page saying it was a moot point. It was just a bit of fun that`s all not saying it would happen COYG.

What a nasty, personal, vitriolic attack of one of our own players. You've created your own anger at this situation, or listened to the bleatings of an attention hungry pundit maybe. I don't recognise this post as representative of a supporter.

Hi Gunnermed, I am a passionate support with an opinion. My opinion on Kai is not thst wide of the mark of what others think of him. If we switch ESR for Kai then thst is a downgrade in my book and really poor business. ESR puts a shift in and looks like he cares. We’ve cleared the decks of overpaid lazy players yet have Kai on a ridiculously high wage and similar attitude to an Ozil who Arteta wanted rid of because he was lazy etc… I’m sorry if my rather passionate post rubbed you the wrong way but I was going by what I read in some papers etc and look# like Ed has mentioned a switch. Unless we get £65m then how can it be a decent deal. My frustration is the deal. Money thrown around was £35m. Does that feel like a great switch to you? Not sure it is a nasty, personal, vitriolic attack. I’m sticking up for ESR…

Mal, sorry for delay - it’s on a number of sites, news papers etc. hope you are well.

Sy4, how do you know he's on 'ridiculous' wages? Apart from click bait press headlines, which I believe are just made up figures. All footballers wages are too high, if that's a reason to question all of their worth?

Your reply just sounds like gaslighting. Your post was obviously personal and hateful! Have pride if that is your bag. Being a 'passionate' fan is no excuse for anything. His 'laziness' is just made up, like it was for ozil. Don't pretend like you know what arteta thought of ozil, and don't hide behind vague opinions that back you up about havertz.

You've decided he's a total failure before it's been proved, and used that to further justify a range of attacks on his nature and character. Even if your guesses and prejudice are proved correct, I just don't see how you can defend your original post as anything other than trolling. SORRY, as apparently your temperament will need an advanced apology!

“It's making someone seem or feel unstable, irrational and not credible, making them feel like what they're seeing or experiencing isn't real, that they're making it up, that no one else will believe them. ” Gaslighting involves an imbalance of power between the abuser and the person they're gaslighting.

Really?

Enough sites and people etc quoting. he’s the highest paid player at the club.

Enough and ex-players scratching their heads as are fans with this signing

He’s not set the world alight and even Vieira was an upgrade for him.

Pushed off the ball, backward passing when in space etc etc

I will give him time but I can’t see how he fits in. He’s not done anything to endear himself to doubters and there’s plenty of them.

Ozil wasn’t lazy and had end product. Check out KMs covered and assusts. Check out how he bulked up to handle epl.

My frustration would be if Chelsea sign ESR as I’d rather him than Kai. Papers quoting they are interested as was one of the Eds.

Is that gaslighting etc etc?

Anyway - pleased to meet you. It’s a banter site where people share opinions are aren’t normally attached. By you keep protecting Kai and attack me

All good Mal - you? I’m busy gaslighting.
