In all 4 games we lost Partey either did not play or was subbed. Someone should send the memo to Arteta. You can’t do experiment with his position. It is always costly.
Read this on social media somewhere, seems truer by the day?.

Getting bossed in midfield and you bring on Jorginho
Not sure that in game decision was wise or paid off
Everton played with far more aggression and passion. Onana is the type of beast we needed and was awesome
Hopefully Arteta learns from this and gets wiser
May be Partey is / was injured and if so - should have spent the money in Jan. If he wasn’t or isn’t then why take him off?
Come on you Gunners - it’s not the loss but how you get back up and return to the ring.
2.) 04 Feb 2023 17:11:14
TP wouldn’t have started or travelled if he was injured or even only just fit
Everton were fired up
We have been looking at the league table too often.

Personally I'm expecting this Arsenal team to bounce back against Brentford simply because they have shown us that's what they do after the United defeat and the draws against Newcastle and Southampton and when going behind in games.
This Arsenal team have given me very good reason to believe in them and I personally will back then 100% because of everything they demonstrated 99% of the time this season. Whether we finish 1st or 5th this season this Arsenal team have given me every reason to get excited which is something that no Arsenal team has done for years, and because of this I totally accept the bad days with the good days with no problem at all.
Up the Arsenal ❤❤❤❤.

Finishing 5th after being in the position we are, will tell me this squad ain’t what we think they are and we’ve wasted money mate
I do believe we will bounce back though.
5.) 04 Feb 2023 17:58:16
If we finish 5th from this position then that would be a failure in my eyes, all the money spent and nothing to show for it out of both cups and 5th sorry 62 that can’t happen,
6.) 04 Feb 2023 18:00:25
Hi Banbury mate, I'm not expecting a 5th place for a minute mate but if it were to happen it wouldn't take away the wonderful feelings od happiness and enjoyment this season has given me and I certainly wasn't expecting to have last August.
Personally I think we will be more than OK and will get the job of winning the title done come May, I think this but obviously can't possibly know it, but whatever happens I'm really grateful for what this season has given me already ????❤❤❤❤.
7.) 04 Feb 2023 18:05:58
Let’s hope so 62.
8.) 04 Feb 2023 19:31:57
Hi SY mate, I'm pretty sure most of us we will all be super happy come. next May, obviously there will be some who even if we win the league by 10pts would complain we should have won at least one cup also.
We shouldn't lose sight of the fact we'd have all taken 4th place at the start of the season and we are currently well on the target to do much much better than that mate. We've never ever had so many points after our first 20 games, I'm personally more than delighted by our entire season so far and I 100% accept the occasional lows that have been overwhelming put in the shadows by all the fantastic highs.
9.) 05 Feb 2023 13:29:39
I knew we would lose always when a new manager comes in the team does a lot better we be ok for top 4.
10.) 05 Feb 2023 14:52:00
Did you really know Stephen or were you simply fearful of us losing because of the new manager effect?
The only reason I point out the difference is because it's actually impossible for any of us to actually know the future ahead of time but it's very possible to overcome our fearful thoughts and not let them affect our happiness and enjoyment of the unknown ????.

Poor come every now and agai, that's expected. For me the worry is how they come. Our usual style is moving the ball around quickly and unlocking defence.
Teams like Palace, Newcastle and Everton today can park the bus and defend to death. We don't have a plan B for such matches and that worries me. If teams realize that we struggle against physicality then they will do all they can to rattle us and will we have an answer?
1.) 04 Feb 2023 15:37:20
Bad day at the office today too many players dropped their standards and we got dragged into a more Scappy uncontrolled game. Well Played Everton though. I had feeling the Dyche factor might have this effect on the game today, players just seem to find a extra 10% from nowhere playing for a new manager happens alot. They had their game plan and played it like a full 100mph blood and thunder sort of cup game which suited them. let's not beat oursleves up to much though we have more character about us this season and we know Brentford is now without doubt a must win ahead of the City game. We still have the points in hand remember don't panic, pressure over to City still.

Hi guys. Forgot my previous credentials, haven't posted in a while. I hope the whole Arsenal family is doing ok. Previously posted as Rue1025 and Ru1025. I remember good interactions with Dagenham Gooner, Stoner, Malaga, and the Raver from Tottenham etc
Quick question, ED002 are you Fabrizio Roman :) ?
{Ed014's Note - welcome back Rue and I can answer that for in no he isn’t.
Hope alls well with you and you’re enjoying the season mate.
1.) 21 Jan 2023 07:52:50
Hey rue mate, how’s it going?
2.) 21 Jan 2023 07:50:08
Thanx ED014, are you Fabrizio Romano? ?
It's surreal, like a dream, loving every minute. The boys are playing fearlessly and showing grit. I am rooting for them all the way and I hope they can bag the title.
{Ed014's Note - haha no im not mate and think we all are mate and it would be special but as I boringly keep saying, even to myself, it’s a long way to go.
3.) 21 Jan 2023 14:43:14
What ever did happen to the original dags? I miss his awful humour.
4.) 21 Jan 2023 20:42:49
Hi Malaga, long time indeed. Loving the display from this young crop. Arteta doing a good job. A decent striker and we can bag the title.
31 Jan 2023 09:49:21
Please God no, he will not add any value to our squad.
29 Aug 2023 12:45:39
@SY4 and gunns4ever that would be gutting if it happens. That would be poor business on our part.
29 Aug 2023 12:37:36
I don't want to come across as negative early on in the season, but I feel we will rue such decisions in the future. Timber was a good buy but since he's injured, let's have natural left backs as backup. Zinny for matches where we attack a lot and KT for matches in which we need to be more defensive. We also have UCL and FA cup so depth would be nice. Having utility players in defence is a bit outdated for me.

Hi RSharpe and Ed014. I would have loved a striker this season. I feel like that 65million for Havertz should have been added to a striker budget. I worry (hopefully I am wrong) that teams have learnt that we are wing-strong and striker-poor. They will set up to starve Saka and Martinelli and we won't score as much as last season from those 2.
Like I said, hopefully I am wrong, but I am a bit worried.
05 Feb 2023 18:52:54
You and me both SirWenger ???.
{Ed014's Note - well no one below us is setting the world on fire and United have lost their ladyboy for the next 3 games.
I was just asking the other Ed’s if they think Klopp and Pep will be around next season, neither seem happy.

When Man U scored first, my heart sank Gunner62, but that was akin to slapping a lion. The lion "woke up" and became bloodthirsty after that. The way we moved the ball around was poetic and I love how we are not afraid to shoot from a distance nowadays. Nervous moments yes, but a very polished performance from the boys. COYG!
