One of the important aspect that we are missing is the amount of injuries we had last season. Though, it is not something that can be controlled but surely we won't be that unlucky again this season. Came across these statistics and thought we coped very well for the amount of games missed by key players:
Havertz 41 games
Odegaard 30 games
Merino 28 games
Calafiori 16 games
Saka 15 games
Fingers crossed we won't face such situation again this season.

Most of those games by attackers/CAM. We coped admirably. Remember thinking, hope Viktor doesn't get injured, as Kai and Merino are out. Bruno and Konza are a proper insurance policy, too. Once Timber (imminent) and Saliba are back, crikey, that's a strong squad. But goals win games. City very reliant again on Haaland.

Guy is a freak and never gets injured. Big game on Sunday - their attack v our defence. Keep them out and we win the game. Apart from perhaps Caicedo, I wouldn't want any of their midfield / defence or goalkeeper. Chelsea are dangerous and a dark horse, but I still see it as us v C£ty. COYG.

Yes, Sussex, big and important game this weekend.
Chelsea are definitely a dark horse and have no European distractions.
I am not sure how Maresca will do during the whole season. They started great, but I think City will fade as the season progresses.

Think this is why one of our top medical guys got biffed off.

Sparks, I heard sussex sold the chap a watch and he contracted dysentery just from wearing it. Had to stop working as a result.

It was sepsis, but why let the facts get in the way of a good story, Sharpie. COYG.
