Firstly excellent 3 points, I had us down with 5 points from the first 9 on offer, now I am thinking 7.9 would be a dream start.
On the game yesterday, it showed the new signings need bedding in time, the PL is a different animal to the European leagues.
Man Utd's new signings looked up to speed.
Also I would say, if Man U play like that it could do us a favour when the likes of Man C, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spuds go there.
Also of note, Raya is great with his hands but when he thinks he can play with the ball on the floor, then watch out.
A good 3 points.

Every man and his dog can see we need a left winger of significant quality - not a RW who can switch to RW. We need a star in that position and have done for a while. that's in the Boss and Club. No difference to need for a striker. We need a better goal threat in the bench also if we are to win the league and better mentality ( winners mentality )
Lucky great 3 points thanks to both keepers.
Onwards and upwards but lots of work required on training ground and transfers.

We were fortunate yesterday and showed glaringly that Prem ready players should have the premium on them. Mbuemo and Cunha were up to speed while Zubi and Viktor were way off such a big game. That said only Raya played anywhere near the level required. I can`t agree Ode was awful just to suit a narrative - Rice was nowhere to be seen.
That said Zubi and Viktor will be fine - they are good players - and we won`t play that badly again. We are now back in the swing of it and a whole week on the training ground. Tough start too but winning while playing badly seems to be a sentiment we reserve for other teams not us.
Three points plus Eze plus a really quick LW - am leaning towards Malik Fofana. Bring on Diiiiirrrrrty Leeeeds COYG.

3 different views and the beauty of this site comes light.
BG expecting 5 points from 9 so will be happy with what he saw and the people of that view.
SY nothing but 9 points would probably be pointing downfalls in the team even if we got 9 points.
Sussex AFC says what it is and moves on gives a balkanced discussion overall
1/ 38 one win another 37 to come. Next game leeds, hope the team don't under estimate them and are ready for battle. Looking forward to it already. I would prefer MLS DL rather than Cali as he is much quicker getting back to his position but have to decipline MLS as he is getting a rep of getting straight yellows.

G4E - I think most would have settled for draws at OT and Anfield with a win against Leeds, It's a good start for us that's for sure the new boys will take a few weeks to sort themselves.
I agree with Sussex we won't see too many performances that are as bad as that, and it was.
Still hoping for one more good signing.

Sorry G4E but you have me wrong, but I see your point. We need to be equipped, set up tactically and mentally to win, if our own fans see issues - read the posts and other sites - then the Boss has to figure out how to resolve. For the past 3 or 4 seasons he’s bottled it and it’s being highlighted now that he doesn’t play to win but to not lose, hence the draws and list points and giving up commanding point leads. I get annoyed that the boss isn’t sorting and club / boss not addressing key positions that e eryone knows needs addressing.
If we play with intent, show intelligent in game changes and high intensity with plenty of shots on targets while being set up defensively then I’m happy. We will lose the odd game or draw - I’m fo e as the performance will mean we will win on another Sunday. Utd OUT PLAYED US and had a BETTER ATTACK - the performance was poor. So the club deserved stick for performance. If I’d supported Utd then I would have taken pleasure from plenty of the play. If you want to watch us time wasting from a 5th minute lead - brilliant. I don’t - get after a 2nd or 3rd goal.
