Late move for Iliman Ndiaye to fill the LW void. We do need two good options first, both flanks, if last season told us anything. It would be odd to not replace Trossard and Martinelli; otherwise our attack has gone backwards and that’s where we needed to add. Plus replace Jesus.

Could Merino cover Jesus? Not in the horse breeding sense, obviously. ? Third striker? COYG.

Lol - he could offer a goal threat from the bench, but Martinelli offered pace & 6 Champions League goals. We need something & we had Merino last year, so feels backwards still.

My fault, I assumed we were replacing Martinelli! Merino to cover the 4 or 5 games Jesus played (420 ish minutes) . COYG. Definitely backwards if we don't replace Martinelli.

Then Kroupi in the winter window..
Looking forward to tonight's game - gotta be a good time to play Villa. Get that game out of the way.

Possibly looking for more game time for Dowman? Saka, Noni, and Eze can all play on the left.
Just a thought as to why we would let Martinelli go and not replace him, if, of course, we don't replace him, as there is obviously still time to do that if the club are already pursuing options away from the eye of media.
Not long to wait now before we know for sure. ?

No desire of seeing more of Noni, esp on LW. His stats are poor & not much end product. He's more frustrating than Martinelli. Eze is too lazy out there, & laid back. Those options don't thrill me. ?

I think, like always, we ultimately just have to wait and see how things actually work out on the pitch as the season progresses, mate.

Well, plenty of attackers are being signed, so I'd ask, what are we doing.. Matias Fernandez-Pardo, Newcastle, Chelsea purchased, Liverpool purchased, Real got their man, Spurs buying.. we are selling. ?
Agree, Gunner, but a bit of movement wouldn't be bad. We needed attackers this window.
