Vic bringing out his inner Mertesacker today with his speed & turning circle. I do like Per, lovely guy.
What's happened to him - him & Noni anything but good buys. Will need to add in Jan ?.

Don't you remember the 'Merteducker' thing? Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but I've never forgiven him for that.

Just my two penneth it's a tough tough game at Anfield, they are in form and confident just ask Brighton last week! It's why we started with Kai and he delivered. Have a pop Sy but credit where credit's due. Well played Kai. Hard earned result and we move on
PS thought ref had a poor game for both sides and we were without two of our best in Saliba and Saka.
PPS remember Wirst, Isak, Barcola and Gakpo £360 Mill
Quantum Kai Madueke Odegaard £185 Mill (with Saka in £125 mill)
Yep the boys done well COYG.

I remember the ducking thing but apart from Koscielny I always felt Mertesacker was having to look out and cover for average centre backs such as Gabriel Paulista, Mustafi ( good heavens) Holding and obvious ly 67 the gorgeous Callum Chambers! As a member of the CB union I thought he was excellent for us ?♂️ COYG.
