Gutted for Ramsdale, his fall has been spectacular since leaving us. Now playing fourth choice keeper in Championship, surely he is much better than that. Hopefully he finds his way back to decent level football.

I'd welcome him back as our second choice keeper, Highbury, mate. ?
It was difficult for him to stay with us before, after being out as number-one keeper, but obviously a lot has changed between then and now, mate.

I think the decline began in his first year at Southampton, without his Arsenal defence in front of him. Such a lovely guy, and sad to see his situation now. Being a goalkeeper, there is nowhere to hide.

We are overstocked with quality backup goalkeepers. I really thought we would make some money on Kea when we signed Meslier. Maybe Meslier can also cover for striker, a la Merino, when we become desperate. ?
