Personally I think he needs to up his game his g/a are nowhere near what his wages are, his goal tally the last 2 years are awful for someone who people call world class, taking people on noni looks more dangerous than saka, he definitely needs to up his game and stop putting fake limps on its embarrassing lol that vid going around is afeul lol.

I kinda agree Dublin, but as our most dangerous player he's constantly double or triple marked, and iperhaps improvement in the other forward areas might give him more space to flourish again.

Hopefully the competition for the RW will give him boost. Not really content with Noni to early pass judgement but his shooting is not there yet for me.

Saka consistently makes things happen for us and is often our best player. I can imagine he and Arteta also agree he needs to step it up, but I don't at all buy that Noni is better. The main issue is that he's consistently having to beat 2-3 men as SW says.
I reckon if he was signing for another club he would be getting at least what he's due to receive on this contract, hence the bump.

Wire i didn't say noni was better i said noni looks more dangerous than saka, just needs to add more goals to be on par with world class wingers in my opinion, his goals and assists are not very good at all for the last 2 years, I agree noni shooting isn’t the best but his dribbling is, if he could do that on the left and score loads we wouldn’t need a left winger,

Watching City demolish Newcastle and how they played attacking football, even with such a lead, makes me think the final is going to be a real challenge!

I’m not sure City really needed to try. Newcastles defending was awful and they also went for it which left loads of space for City to attack. We would have done the same if Chelski had tried to win the game earlier than the last couple of minutes.
{Ed025's Note - i dont think you would have Glenn, if Chelsea had scored early you would have still played safety first mate...its the only way you know..

The football that we started with 3 seasosn ago was the football that we will play again i'm hoping. Free flowing early goals great comeback last minute goals (in our favour) players looked hungary to win.
At the moment for this season i don't care how we get there as long as we get there. We need to taste success this season and next season we can make it more presentable/entertaining.
The players do look worn out exhusted, World Cup won't be easy on us.

Thanks mate, yes, the first part will be to get a win and 3 points, however, if we just manage to get that with a single goal scored from a corner, it won’t boost anyone’s confidence so we definitely need a performance. At least that is my view. We fans need the utmost patience until May!

Another thought- fatigue was obvious, 4 away games, including to Italy, before this game.
{Ed025's Note - for me Sally thats an excuse rather than a reason mate, these are finely tuned athletes and its more the set up and nerves that is making you look so poor, you are still in a great position but the opposition can smell blood and the supporters can see that and are starting to panic as well, its time for Mikel to step up to the plate and change things for me..

I do question the decision to play a strong team in every champions league match. 7wins out of 7 is amazing, but also rather pointless (win bonuses and home advantage aside) and surely a contributing factor towards our lack of recent wins in the prem.

Aha, I think you're right about Havertz Banbury. And I'm happy for Martinelli to start with Trossard on just after half time. I don't think either of them play to their advantage when on for the whole game.

I'd play Gykores up front. His physicality for me is the key and I'm sure the goals will come. Bring on Jesus/Merino/Havertz as subs.
I'd give Eze a start and Madueke as they need minutes to prove their worth.
I think Saliba needs a break.
Trossard to start with Martinelli on soon into the 2nd half.
I quite like the idea of subbing lots of players to bring on extra energy and sharpness.
Against ManU I thought some players looked tired. mentally, not just physically.
