That's why you need a Kane, Haaland, Mbappe, not a Jesus, Kai or Vik or Noni to be fair. Not blasting our players, but we need something special up front - Noni. Vik, Kai and Jesus should be squad, not starters. This World Cup showing real quality vs the rest.

How did we win the Prem then, Sy, without a Kane, Haaland, Mapped, and reach a CL league final with a Kane, Haaland, Mapped?
Why didn't Spurs win the trophies when Kane was there, or Bayern win CL with Kane?

Set pieces, a defensive mindset, strong defence, excellent keeper & a poor City & Liverpool. If we are being very honest. CL - easiest root to the final & great defence & same strengths.
I didn't say Kane on his own, but the special players are shining in the WC. They are the difference & if we want to defend the league or win Champs League then we will need that special player. We won't get away with corners again, so those goals need to come from somewhere. If you don't think those 3 are any better than Jai or Jesus or Vik, then fine.
If you don't think Kane can turn a game on its head on his own - fine. If you don't think Henry gave us special powers - fine. But if we are 1 nil down, who would you rather have up front: Kai, Kane, Jesus, Mbappe, Vik & Haaland? Let's say 3 choices & be honest. Haaland, Mbappe & Kane.
When you have a very strong defence & goalie. Rice & Saka. There's only so many positions to improve & our attack is 100% needing improvement if we are to improve & dominate. The best teams always improve.

And I've always wanted to step out with Jennifer Aniston, but she unfortunately has been unattainable! Pretty sure Kane, Mbappe and Haaland are too (for us to buy, not for me to step out with) . They are elite and won't join us! Let's be honest / realistic at the very least! Is Alvarez elite? Not for me, and he's told us he wants Barca. Sometimes some things are just unattainable, like the lovely Jen. It is stating the bleeding obvious: we need an elite striker; getting them is nigh on impossible, plus there are only three of them and they can only join three clubs if, in fact, they are for sale! Can't blame us for lack of ambition if we don't buy Kane, Haaland, etc.
Also, didn't PSG win the CL without Kane, Mbappe or Haaland? Maybe concentrate on the attainable, high-scoring left winger! I'm also a sucker for loyalty! I personally am happy to stay loyal to V ?tor and Kai. We did quite well last season with them, and one was new and one was injured! Get that LW and midfielder, and we go again - this time as champions. Coyg.

You are blasting our players, or you wouldn’t have mentioned them. Are you sure you’re an Arsenal fan? Alverez isn’t an upgrade on Vic. Gyok out scored him in a much tougher league than Alverez, and it was Gyok’s first season! Only upgrade on Gyok is the fowards mentioned above. Why would we want to sign someone who doesn’t want to join us in the first place? Personally, I’d sell Kia and Jesus and get the Bournemouth lad and Bruno, and go massive on a left winger like Vini or anyone else that is world class or close to world class.
I’d even have Barcola. I’d leave Rodgers for 80/90 if buy, but not 130.

Dublin, of course I'm an Arsenal fan. Hence, I care so much about the club & want the best for the club. We do need an upgrade in a few positions and that doesn't make me a non-fan. Ruthless, naive, opinionated & poorly expressed opinions - guilty. Put a player ahead of the club just because we signed him - no, but I support them.
Sorry, Sussex, but we can't start with Kai & Vik as our attacking options. They just aren't quite good enough.
My main point is that class rises to the top, & the WC has shown how the elite strikers really make a difference at the highest level - just like Rice, Raya, Saliba & Gabs do.
If we aren't going to unleash Eze, then sell him too. You can't cage a wild cat and get the best out of him.
My 11 would be:
GK: Raya
RB: Timber
CBs: Saliba & Magalhaes
LB: Calafiori
DM: Declan Rice (No. 6 role - what we paid £105m for)
CM: Bruno Guimaraes
AM: Martin Odegaard (Unleashed - playing at high tempo)
LW: Kenan Yildiz
RW: Bukayo Saka
CF: Eli Junior Kroupi
Outside of Kenan, all doable and not fantasy.
Still a half-decent work ethic, but creativity, pace & goals up top, with people who can create something off their own back.
That pace, plus a change in CM, should release Ode to get back up, passing forward, so long as Arteta removes the chastity belt from the attack & our mindset.
In the Champions League final, we needed a goal & Vik.
It's not against Vik, but a good few people in the know knew he wasn't a 25 EPL goal-per-season striker when we signed him. He's definitely a strong plan B, no doubt. Kai offers something, but won't scare a defence in the EPL - again, a plan B. Neither are an adequate plan A if we want to dominate the EPL and the Champions League.
Surely that's the goal, so how do you do that without upsetting a few people, or convincing people to sign for us even if they are not the number 1 option? Were we everyone's first choice?

I would have the same team, but I’d swap Yildiz with Barcol, because Yildiz has said he’s not going anywhere even if Juve don’t have cl. I’d buy Kroupi, but he’s for the future; until Gyok is done, he’s our main man. Kroupi will play cup games like the FA Cup, etc., and against smaller teams in the cl. Then, when Gyok is older, he will be our main in 2/3 years. That’s what I would do, and add a few more squad players, like a rb, and sell Ben White and maybe that Lille kid, and loan him back.
