I understand their confidence, whether it's misplaced or justified we will have to wait and see but our record at Anfield is horrific in recent seasons where we've got absolutely ripped to shreds in double quick time and if Burnley can achieve 18 attempts on our goal at the Emirates it's a real concern what a Liverpool team who are the best they've been in 30 years might do to us at Anfield.
Bravado is lovely but there will be very very few neutral fans or pundits who back us to win or even get a point on Saturday before the kick off.
I see absolutely no reason to be upset or offended by Liverpool fans confidence they simple fancy their chances big style based on footballing logic Just like the neutrals.
We have to change people's minds about us with what we show on the football field because that's where our soft touch disorganised Arsenal reputation stated and has been well maintained and on the field is the only place we can lose that reputation too.

Some Liverpool fans, think we will beat everyone, some think we would of beat everyone with Hodgsons team!
You will be dangerous and we have to be on our game, if we want to win. That front three of yours can be lethal but the same can be said for ours against your defence. I think it'll be a cracking game for the neutrals but not for my heart.

Fair post WY mate, I thought a lot of Liverpool fans were deluding themselves under Brendan as the weaknesses were plain to see and when he bought Benteka to replace Suarez he confirmed my opinion of his ability to manage a big club in a big league.
Jurgen is a completely different proposition to Rogers or Benitez he has the knowledge and managerial ability to achieve at the very top of the game through his motivational skills understanding of the game and acceptance of what is needed to make a team work at the highest level.

Recently after Jurgen taken the managerial role, our team performed well even in tough situations. Didn't panic or given up easily. Maybe that's where confidence comes up. Its football anyone can beat anyone in any given day. But considering our front 3 and your defence we May outscore you given the circumstances.

Totally agree stg anyone can beat anyone on the day as Palace showed at City last season, you have every reason to be quiteley confident and I doubt very very much Jurgen would let your team be complacent on the day as you can't get 96 points in a season by taking other teams for granted.
Whatever way you dice it Liverpool will be big favourites based on all the footballing reasons you can think of and it's up to us to show everyone we are a different Arsenal to the Arsenal who have been blown away so easily at Anfield in recent years or accept the fact we still have a long way to go before we win over public opinion about us, the onus is on us to change how people see us.

As much as it pains me to say it, you can't disagree too hardly with them. They are in a position i hope we are in come 3 years. Think we will give them a good game but, not too confident of the win, be happy with a point.
