I think its too early to say if Sherwood is a good or bad manager . He kept Villa up last season for sure, but was that the result of a new manager coming in and giving the club a lift? He is struggling at the moment but he is in the infancy of his manergerial career, maybe he should do what Teddy has done and start in the lower leagues?

Sherwood will prove to be rubbish over the long term because as has been pointed out, he's just not that bright. Compare him to Eddie Howe who is also learning the game but certainly has something about him. A future Arsenal manager? Far too early to say but understated intelligence is something we went for 19 years ago.
Either way, I don't think Dags should be nursing a bruised rectum this morning for having a different view. But I also said before the season started that Wenger will have his day and Mourinho will get his comeuppance such is the natural order if things. This might be cosmic compensation for all those jokes.

If you take over a club where the relationship between team and its ex manager wasn't great its not too difficult to be the players mate and to turn things around short term and that's what nice but Tim has done at both Vila and spuds.
He will take Villa down this season simply because the feel good factor had already disappeared by the end of last season and now he's out of his depth IMO.
