Disappointing performance last night. On the positive side, we will now have fewer matches to contend with than 3 of our rivals for a top 4 spot and the semi-final draw means the Toot have to beat Chelsea and in all likelyhood Man City in order to lift a desperately needed trophy. Whilst strong rumours that their trophyless manager is off to Man U in the summer.
On a different note, we need to get behind the team at the weekend and get back to winning ways.

I don't think anyone's changed their opinion on Dick over the last few days mate, those who were 100% behind him still are and those who were yet to be convinced remain so and of course those who simply don't like him because he's not Arsene will never like him for that one reason no matter what he does. ( Not aimed at you SY mate i know you want both Arsenal and Emery to be successful )
I'm sure the atmosphere will be extremely positive at the weekend and we will indeed get back to winning ways.

What positives we lost Iam sure we wanted to win that game and the cup, well I did.

No disrespect Welsh mate but we have much more pressing priorities than the league cup fa cup or europa league to think about.
Firstly get back in the top 4.
Next actually compete for the premier league title again.
Then actually compete in the champions league rather than simply make up the numbers.
The domestic cups are all very nice but they don't come close to being a real competitive force in the premier and champions leagues again.

In the great scheme of things, winning the carriboo cup over CL qualification is no interest to me. The league is and has always been the yardstick and important issue, the cups are a day out and sometimes a distraction. With our injury issues, the last thing for me would have been hard battles against chelski and citeh for the cariboo cup. Its nice to win but really pretty irrelevant if it impacts on the rest of the season. Cup games are one game shoot outs and the league is the test. Performing in the league every week is the first and foremost most important thing.

We simply have to become relevant again when discussing the title first and champions league ultimately.
Only one team can ever win the title but Arsenal Liverpool United City Chelsea need to be serious contenders or they are under achieving and questions are quite rightly asked of them.

The league comes first gunner, once that's sorted, then cups become more important.
