Is Wenger giving us a clue when he said i would prefer 4 years at Arsenal but i am adult enough to analysise the situation. So perhaps Kroenke and the board have finally realised that Arsene has got to much above himself dictating to them about contracts and are going to give him a shove to the door. Also if i was Psg and had approached him or even offered him 4 year deal and he has said yes in principle i would not be too happy that he has come out and said i prefer another 4 years at Arsenal.
Question for you people if the unthinkable happens tomorrow and we lose what one of
the 4 options will happen
1. - He resigns
2. - He is sacked
3. - He goes at the end of the season
4. - He gets a new contract

Take care people.

I think in that senario it would be the end of the season Heybridge mate.
My personal veiw is he will sign a one year deal at the end of the season with the promise of deffinately going at the end of next season as way of keeping enough people onside who will buy into it with an " ok I'm happy for one more season as long as it's the last one " attitude allowing Arsene one last chance to make a season last beyond February in champions league and premier league terms.
Just my view thought.

4.,
Remember Arsenal are all about profit, the owners are in a very comfortable position at the minute, they have a manager who makes them a shed load of money, why risk that .? Get rid of Wenger and they a big risk.

I believe that Wenger is simply saying he feels he has at least another 4 years in him to continue managing at club level, whether at Arsenal or elsewhere. If I had to predict Wenger's future, it would be; 4 years club management, at say PSG, then he would become the French National manager and then in his mid-70's he will start working with young players in a deprived area, such as Africa. The tide has turned and I can't see him staying at the club, even an FA Cup and 2nd place might not placate the supporters. I think he wanted to go out with a trophy and he looked absolutely gutted when we lost to Chelsea and Bayern, in reality leaving just the FA Cup to chase. I do wish fellow supporters would show him more respect, as his record at the club has been amazing. Speaking about him as though he is a senile old has been is simply wrong. He is still physically and mentally in great shape and I don't believe he has fallen behind the times, simply that in the second decade of his time as manager, other clubs came into the equation with huge financial muscle. We have no devine right to finish above the likes of Chelsea, Man C and Man U, who all are wealthier than Arsenal. Wenger has completed and given these clubs a run for their money, whilst running Arsenal as a business, not financially doped as other clubs are. Many fans only know Wenger as manager and they are oblivious to a time when we had period where we were out of the top four, won little and even had a brief spell in the lower half of the old 1st division.
