Possible but I'd be very surprised, there seems to be a new acceptance at the club that we can't continue to do the same old things and expect a different outcome each season.
I think the expectation level from the Arsene/ club has moved up a couple of notches and we are seeing that with our very early activity in the transfer market.

AW is no fool, just overly loyal. When asked aboit Leicester towards the end of the season he said something like 'it is a wake up call to all managers, showing a different approach'. I think he has hamhed tactics a bit with accepting less possession, and if we have the players he feels can do it, will happily try something new. Lots of us would argue he should have done before, but I think that was because he had too much faith in some players.

Lescott is joining in Jan, Chambers is going to be like a Petit long term, not a CB.Wenger is really hard over on this apparently. Poor kid was left sinking last week at RB but I really rate him in the middle.
Did not make this up, it's 5.00am and it's kept me awake.
My best friend told me this and he is spot on on pretty much everything including my golf course having a buggy ban tomorrow which is not good as I hurt my back the other night and don't want to carry my bag. I know how our team feels carrying out CBs

1.) I don't believe for one moment we will sign Lescott. However, Chambers is proving to have been an excellent purchase. I feel that he will ultimately be a centre back. He was not protected at RB against Swansea, which tends to be an oddity of Wengers post 2005 tactics, leaving his back four exposed without protection of his midfield. Once all our defenders are fit, I would like to see us try a fluid 4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2 formation with Giroud & Welbeck up front. The four man midfield could include Chambers played centrally next to Wilshere, with Walcott & Sanchez played wide. Sanchez with his desire and workrate could cover Gibbs & Walcott may learn to help out Debuchy.

I think he may well be better suited to working with our crop of players than he was with the likes of Neymar and company.
If one of his strengths is coaching and improving players we have plenty of players that could potentially improve a lot.
We probably have 4 or 5 players that have an abundance of natural ability that just need the right style of play to get the absolute best out of them.
There are probably 12 teams in the Premier that we should have quite a big edge over quality wise which is enough to to collect around 60 points and another 14 games to define our season.

Those players who have failed at Arsenal haven't failed under Emery, different voice in the changing room different approach on the training field and different tactics and motivation might see different performances from those who've struggled in the past.

No, why should we enjoy convincing ourselves that an unknown signing that only Everton were after, is a day of joy.
Why did we not identify him weeks ago? It's because we have taken a drop down in quality and price again so as to meet the constant profit demands of our share holders.
I personally was never calling for us to just sign someone.
