Ffs, Sy, Chelsea did not jump us, they overpaid 37 million pounds more than we were willing to pay. Rogers 117m, really.
Barcola 130 million, really.
Tbh, there is not a lot on the market to improve what we got. Mikel/Berti thought Vini would and we're willing to smash the British transfer record and our wage structure to get him.
It didn't happen, so we move on.
Tzolis looks a bargain so far.
Our midfield is off the scale.
We need defensive cover, but at a push Marli Salmon looks more than capable.
We seem to be concentrating on clearing the decks, and if we don't do any more business we go with what we got.

SY4, the Morgan Rogers one was the mistake. He was Arteta's number 1 target, and, in today's over-inflated market, was always going to cost over £100 million. Chelsea acted quicker and got our main target. They will probably offer us Neto now.
