Morning all Ed's and fellow gunners sky sports news breaking right now Arsenal agree £75 million with Newcastle for Bruno guimaraes. am I allowed to believe it now I won't until I see him hold up that red and white shirt. onto vini jr, I know a lot of people (myself included) think vini/ vini's agent are possibly using the Arsenal thing to gain a better deal with Madrid.

(would be a great signing if we could get him) . But let's flip the scenario. could the Arsenal be using vini talk as a massive smoke screen .? . If so, realistically who do do you think/ really like to appear through the smoke I'm going for nico Williams and if not doable I'd probably go Marcus rashford COYG/VTH ?⚪️❤️.

Hi Gabi, I think both the player's representatives and Arsenal are using each other, and I'm pretty sure if everyone else can see it, so can Real Madrid. I'm sure we'd be interested if he was genuinely interested in moving, but I don't believe that's the case, and he will be with Real for a few years yet, mate.

Morning g62, hope all's good. I'm with you on that. I think Vini will stay at Madrid. So, who would you go for as a left-sided attacker?

Gabi, do you really think the likes of Real Madrid, with all their management and directors, would fall for a "well if you don’t pay me what I want I’m going to Arsenal"? Come on, we are talking about the biggest club in football. There is no way it’s all a scam to get more wages. We are genuinely for him! And if Real want to bend and pay him what he wants, that’s what everyone will say happened. But if he signs the deal that’s already on the table, then what will people say? "Vini rolled over"? Arsenal are just waiting to see what Vini wants to do; the ball is in his court, nobody else’s.

We have offered a better deal than Real, so let’s see. But all this nonsense of him bluffing to get a better deal is laughable. Try that out where you work, see what happens. I’m sure we will do something even if it’s not Vini.

Good morning, Gabi and John.
Like John, I cannot see it happening.
There's + and - to the deal if it did happen.
He is obviously a world class player, and he would enhance the squad's quality beyond measure, but the fee and wages could hamstring us in later transfer windows due to profit and sustainability, which clubs like City and Chelsea don't give a flying fig about, but we, The Arsenal, do.

I read an article about how we tried to sign Bruno a few years back, but because of our respect of the financial rules and having still bearing the debt of the £80 million Pepe deal, we had to pass.
I just like to add that if the deal did go through, I wonder if Zubamendi could go the other way.
Anyway, take care both of you.
COYG.

Just like to add, if we didn't get Vini Jr, I was quite impressed with the Norwegian winger Musa. I think that's his name, but I would not have any problem with Rashford.

Morning Dublin, hope all's good. I see where you're coming from, but how do you know we have offered Vini a better deal than Real Madrid? And I also work for myself. On a good day, I could easily bluff myself to a pay rise. On a bad day, I could just down tools until I give in to myself for a better deal, and on a really bad day, I could chain myself to a fence and absolutely demand a better deal, but I wouldn't do any of the above, because my boss is quite a reasonable bloke.

? ✌? & ?? To you, Dubs.

Class, Gabs, your boss sounds like a good man. There have been multiple credible reports; some even suggested Arteta has told Vini we will build the club around him and he will be the main man. Personally, if this happens, Arsenal will have crazy money coming in and it will change us as a club.

I saw above someone mention we could afford someone because of the Pepe deal, but our club is nothing like that now. We can easily afford him with no financial worries because he is a global superstar and would generate 100s of millions of pounds.

Hi Gabi, if I'm honest, my wider knowledge of footballers and opinions on how good they are isn't anything like what it once was. I tend to focus my attention pretty much on Arsenal nowadays.

I obviously know about Williams from the Euros and World Cup, and in my opinion he's ok, but I'm not sure he's anything close to world class.

If he comes to us, I wouldn't be devastatingly unhappy about it. As for Rashford, I like him more as a central striker than a winger, but he would definitely provide us with a couple more options in both positions.

I know Williams laid on the winner in WCF, but whenever I have seen him, he doesn't impress.
