Morning Mal… hope you are well. So we add that to the list of strikers we’ve agreed personal terms with. We are good at that piece, just not closing the deals. Back in England? Isak would be awesome.

Hey Mal, might I interest you in some tartan paint pal?

Sw I prefer a left handed screwdriver.

{Ed001's Note - I have a lot of them, if you ever want to borrow one mal. Being left-handed, I always buy one when I see them as they are very rare and you never know when you might need one. Nothing worse than trying to manage with a cack-handed one is there.....}

Hi Trish how are you buddy?

You've invested heavily this window
Should be an interesting season ahead

Mate have you any arsenal info?

{Ed001's Note - hiya mal, all good here, enjoying the transfer window for a change!

I didn't have any Arsenal info, so I decided to ask for you, rather than just say no, hence the slightly delayed reply. I have no idea if these are well known or what, I have been snowed under editing so I apologise if any of this has been posted up already:

First off, Partey left because he and Berta have a personal dislike of each other. It was not the plan to let him go and replace with Norgaard, hence the out of the blue nature of the bid. Arteta wanted to keep Partey, who he likes for his versatility, but it was out of his hands.

I guess the striker is the main issue, so I will address that first. It seems Sesko is the one that the club have decided upon, according to what I am told. They very much expect that to go through. I am surprised at this, I have been watching a fair bit of footage, and Ed77 sent me a few clips as well to ask who he reminded me of. Both of us had the same thought - he is very much like Darwin Nunez. His finishing is extremely inconsistent, in the same way as Nunez. He might be turned into something brilliant, if that can be sorted, but it does seem a big risk. Having said that, Brentford's analysts will choose a player who gets chances and misses them over a player with a better strike rate but gets less chances, so maybe it is the way to go.

The other one seems to be left wing. The chosen option was apparently Gittens, who is leaning towards Chelsea, so maybe he can be your Chelsea signing for next season? You do seem to sign someone from there most seasons! Malick Fofana was the next up, but at the moment he is hanging on in case of interest from Liverpool (he and his agent have even gone public about that being his dream in the hope of getting a move there), with Liverpool looking at moving Diaz on, Arsenal are exploring other options, which surprisingly could even include a loan for Rashford. I was told another possibility was one of the Forest wingers, I am guessing it would be Hudson-Odoi as he is ex-Chelsea after all! There are a few more options but I don't know who they would be sorry, I wouldn't know about the Forest one if it wasn't for Newcastle trying to sign Elanga and that getting mentioned in a conversation regarding that.

On the outs side, I have not heard anything much, other than Leeds and Everton being linked with Zinchenko. I have no idea how much truth there is in that though. It could well be someone noticing they both need left-backs and adding 2+2 together and coming up with 17.}

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.}
