Great result and a clean sheet

Up to third

Not a bad start to the season.

A good but not convincing win bud. Only 2 more shots than Bournemouth. A wins a win but I wouldn’t be shouting about it or getting over excited by the performance. We were at home against 10th placed Bournemouth but I guess that’s me just moaning rather than being star struck with a 1 nil. all hail Emery 🤴🏻 🤴🏻.

I agree SY it’s a win you can’t call it great, no real wow factor if we are being honest .

A clean sheet is nice to see .

I don’t like the international breaks always worry about everyone coming back, maybe Tierney and Lacca will be starting on the return .

One thing is for sure 3rd place is very much up for grabs this year.

SY we were all shouting for a good old 1 nil to the Arsenal

George Graham would be proud

Table don't lie.

No one is arguing about being 3rd in the league after 8 games Mal

It’s taking the result into perspective- it’s a win, if you label today’s result as a great win what would you call 3 points against a top 6 side lol

I’m pleased with a clean sheet but I’m very mindful who we played.

Clean sheet is great although Bournemouth would consider themselves unlucky not to have scored in the second half especially after they round the keeper.

Malaga - I’ve grown out of GG’s 2 nil to the arsenal. I want to be entertained and Emery has stated he would rather win 5 3 than 1 nil. Well he looks halfway there as we look like we could concede 3 at any ground 😂😂😂

Why don’t you try being more honest and less rose-tinted in your posts and not encourage negative replies. Today was far from a positive performance but a win. No one can really argue with that.

{Ed047's Note - cant argue with that, let the United fans continue to believe everything is rosey, let us accept we’re a work in progress with some good players coming back to fitness.

Good post SY realism is always the most sensible approach.

I very much doubt we will finish 1 point behind City or Leicester will finish top 4 or Palace top 6, of course I could be wrong but in my opinion the table after 8 games very often lies, it never lies over 38 games on that I would agree.
Don't ride you luck make the most of your luck by getting better so that when it's not always available you don't rely on it as much.

Happy with the 3 points, not so long ago we would be drawing or losing these games. Tierney has to start though and need to find a space for Martinelli.

To be fair sparky we've never failed to get 3 points at home to Bournemouth and today was the closest they've come to getting anything at the Emirates since they became a premier league team.
It's just not true to suggest today was an improvement on anything we've seen in the past in this fixture.

Keep our feet on the ground with truth and fact 62 👍.

Quite right Sy, feet on the ground, 3 points, up to 3rd, clean sheet. let's not get too upbeat. Job done, onto the next game.

Worst performance at home against that side in recent history. Hope we repeat as that was a delight to watch 😂😂.
