Any chance we can give Pepe to Everton and get Iwobi back.

Think Pepe needs a spell of playing off the bench after the international break Wes, there is a fine line between having patience and letting a player struggle too long in the public gaze where pundits and fans start to question them repeatedly week after week and suddenly the player starts feeling under more and more pressure before he takes the field.
Early days for Pepe still but the longer he keeps others out of the starting line-up without justifying his place the louder fans will question his selection and suddenly it becomes a big issue for everyone.

{Ed047's Note - asking for Iwobi back, wow! Like you say 62, time as always is needed.

Take the pressure of the lad in my opinion Ed047, let him come off the bench and find his feet more slowly because he's struggling a bit at the moment while our young guns are doing the exact opposite to struggling, £72 million or not the fans want to see inform players playing that's only natural, my opinion is take notice of which way the winds of public opinion are blowing and act in oder to stop a tiny speed bump of a problem quickly escalating into blown out of proportion into a huge mountain which the lads shoulders just can't carry.

{Ed047's Note - definitely and then I’m sure he’ll come good. I would be amazed if fans don’t stay right behind him.

They should and they will I'm sure Ed mate but not indefinitely, sense which way the winds blowing and " a stitch in time comes to mind" for me.
At the moment it's simply a few raised eyebrows just don't let it turn into a fullscale Ozil fan split before acting, 1 match wining goal from the bench changes everything in my opinion mate.

{Ed047's Note - fingers crossed mate and he’s still trying stuff so his confidence is still there, just needs that one to come off.

06 Oct 2019 18:22:01
Absolutely mate and I'm sure it's only a matter of time for him to come good with us, but we have to learn from our mistakes with other big money signings who've been left to struggle far too long.
Having a strong squad is all about being able to give players who are currently struggling a break and those who aren't their chance and bang! Suddenly you've got real strong competitive competition for places and a team that's once again competing at top level again.
It has to always be about what's best for the team first and an individual a very close but most definitely second in importance.

{Ed047's Note - spot on 62

He looks ok at the moment, looked better earlier on but just needs that moment to gain confidence.

{Ed047's Note - yep defo.

Pretty sure it took Henry and DB10 a good handful of games to settle in. He’s trying to hard and over thinking things. He should just let’s his talent do the talking. That’s the thing with talent and instinct, you can’t always force it, explain it or overthink it. Just let it happen and relax.

Can’t understand why he didn’t start in EL at home against a dire side - perfect match to gain confidence 🤷‍♂️.

It did indeed take Bergy and Henry a while to get going SY mate, you can't declare someone a glowing success or failure after a handful of games, Leno had a very dodgey start too while some had already declared Cellabos as red hot favourite for the PFA award after the Burnley game ( no I'm not slating Cellabos) merely pointing out he's yet to repeat that Burnley performance level YET!
