Arsenal looking for a top class striker because of fitness concerns of Jesus. Nketiah is not seen as a reliable enough goal scorer, and Balogun wants to leave.
Looking at Watkins from Villa and a weird option of Bryan Mbeumo, who they like because of the flexibility.

Now that Saudi Arabian Football is offering a get out for players of advanced years, will we see the EPL offering longer contracts to those aged 30+ in a gamble that big names will have a sell on value?
And will this lead to Arsenal keeping Partey longer than we normally would have?

Happy if Partey and Rice play CM this season. Feels like a strong, powerful, mobile, tall message d field that won’t get bullied and loads of epl experience. Then have a youngster in the wings to play in cups etc ready for next season….

Sure we will play 433 and if we keep Partey will be him Rice Odegaard or Havertz Rice Odegaard in the main. Strong either way! Think Partey will go and Havertz in Xhaka role and Rice at DM. If I was being really picky we need another midfielder if Partey goes and I have a niggling doubt about both Eddie and Balogun being good enough as striker cover. Otherwise good to go. COYG.

Don’t need to be linked to another AM type position - ESR, Kai and Ode are surely enough….
Can a team win the league with Jesus as their main / only striker? He’s not quite deadly enough if we are being honest / picky. Still a great asset but will he get 25 goals? He had a long drought last season and we had little other options.
Proper Striker and a Ptoper CM ( Lavia or the Everton lad) would be my ask but happy if Partey stays. Just don’t play Jorginho or Kai as the partner to Rice. We need to get stronger not weaker or stay the same
Rice is just awesome.
