Touch of reality
We aren’t short of money but there really is no point in going in the CL only to end up in the EL, our squad is a million zillion miles away from being any good in the group stages, I’m really not bothered about CL qualification, our squad needs a huge huge overall before we can roll our sleeves up for top top competition.

It would be horrible to go into the champions league and be last 16 also rans again after Leicester United Liverpool City and Spurs have all surpassed that stage in recent seasons, I'd rather wait until we are ready to upgrade our reputation in Europe's elite competition rather than simply uphold it all over again.
8 seasons in the bounce was enough last 16 early baths for now.
People keep saying about spending money but until we start organising and our players better I really don't see the point of just bringing in more new faces who look as lost next to each other as those we have now.
Maybe our current squad isn't brilliant but it's capable of far better than it currently produces.
