The confirmed signing and the 3 potential signings clearly fill gaps in the squad and redress issues that have remained unresolved for some time.
The remaining issues that need resolving will be: To sell Mustafi and bring in a replacement. Possibly to bring in a further DM player and an attcking wide player. To sell/ release players that are simply not good enough and to send some of our promising youngsters on loan to gain playing time.
I believe Emery plays a 4-3-3 formation, which will be interesting using the current squad. We appear to have a lot of competition for the 3 midfield and the 3 attacking roles. Unless we sell, quite how we include all the players that should be starters will be impossible. We could have the following players for the 6 positions mentioned: Ozil, Mkhitaryan, Iwobi, Torreira, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Ramsey, Lacazette, Welbeck, Aubameyang, Xhaka and Wilshere, That excludes youngsters and Perez. Of course if Ramsey, Wilshere and Welbeck move on, the dynamics change. It is exciting to see change in terms of personnel, tactics, playing style and formation, after a decade of little change.

Emery prefers a 4-2-3-1. He used a 4-3-3 at PSG because it was the best suited formation to their squad at the time. He tried playing a 4-2-3-1 with them and the players didn't like it and suggested he revert back to 4-3-3.
Arsenals default formation over the years is 4-2-3-1 anyway so that would be the best option imo. Plus, I have always been a fan of having a no.10 and we have the players to play there as well.
Looks like Martial is on the market and spurs want him. I would take him in a heartbeat! Brilliant player!

Exactly, I would like him and Arsenal do need a winger and are actively seeking a winger in this transfer window so it wouldn't be out of line! The collection will go down when players are sold mate :) We can't just have 4 attackers and leave it at that we need 2 wingers with 2 decent back ups, 2 strikers and 2 no.10's. Pea, Laca, Ozil, Mhki, Iwobi and Danny isn't enough in my opinion and we have always been lacking in wide areas. Sell Danny, bring in Martial. Perfect mate :)

If we can upgrade I'm all in favour mate, get the defence and midfield sorted first in my opinion because that's where our biggest problems are then if you can ship out then by all means ship in improvements but there is only so many seats on the bench and we don't want the expense of having to buy a bendy bus to fit all the players on :-)
