The lad did very well but so did Calum Chambers in his first dozen games for us, so far so very good but let's not do a Jack on him just yet SY :-)

I think the difference between Holding and Chambers is experience.
Holding had plenty of game time with Bolton. He was their stand out player, whereas Chambers was in and out of the Southampton team like Raver when he goes clubbing up London.

Fair shout Dags i just don't think we should build the lad up to be more than he is before he's ready willing and able to be and then blame him if he isn't able to live up to our over estimations of to much to soon, Belerin comes to mind and Jack also to some degree, Holding is doing ok and if we let him come on at a decent pace instead declaring him Kos mk2 after a handful of appearance's​ he might stand a better chance of being all we hope long term.
Just my view.

All I hear is how people want to stop holding in the box. Fair play to him must be doing something right.
