Cant argue with that. We looked like the old arsenal at times, the good and the bad. Pity it was a draw, it does us no good at all.

I think the performance was encouraging, it is a real shame we conceded the goals the way we did. Thought Xhaka and Monreal especially were fantastic and even Gabriel when he came on was great. Glad we got Koscielny off at half time rather than risk it. so no repeat of the two Bayern games when we collapsed.

A point does us no real good in catching City or Liverpool and breaking into that top 4. Looking at the games we have left I am not overly confident we can pull it off, it is looking pretty bleak. Southapton A and Leicester H being our games in hand are winnable, but will be tough. Hopefully we can beat W Ham and City lose to Chelsea. see how things shape up going into next weekend.

Xhaka are you having a laugh both he and coq were awful first half and improved to a slightly better level second, probably when yaya came ambling on.

It's a step forward not one back so that I'm thankful of. Reading some of the reviews about the game with headlines like arsenal snatch draw was well wide of the mark. A point today was not ideal but it's a damn site better than loosing and been 10 behind city.

At least they are playing Chelsea away on Wednesday and if they loose and we start winning games we should with all games square we could be a point off them. Liverpool have best run in but they have been dropping points against the lower sides. I'm not so worried about united because their run in is a horror show, they have to play every team above them bar Liverpool.

Xhaka was bloody awful went missing for 60 minutes.

Much better performance today. Ospina, Monreal and Gabriel all had much better games. No real poor performances except the issue I believe is trying to accommodate ozil. Playing him in front of coq and Xhaka leaves our midfield and subsequently our defence too exposed.

Xhaka played much better today but he is not a DM. Watch him play for Switzerland, he plays in a much more advanced role where he runs the attack, not protecting the defence. Would rather play the third midfielder behind coq and Xhaka, to protect the defence and let Xhaka play higher up the pitch.

Xhakas sloppyness was part off the reason we let in two goals first half. What do people see in him, he's awful and doesn't contribute to the team with anything except a couple of Hollywood passes now and then and a couple of Skegness ones too.

The performance wasn't great but ok. Strange things like lack of goal celebrations, mardyness when being subbed, giving up when trying to get a goal, general apathy around the team and lack of clarity from the club is all a bit strange. There is definitely something going on but we are not finding out.

The performance was no better or worse than Man City, who are stuffed full of big name players, so yes, it was definitely an improvement. Also good to see some of our more maligned players having a better game (Ospina, Monreal and Gabriel spring to mind) . Now if only we could get Ozil and Walcott to contribute to the game more (and not just by giving the ball back to the opposition right in front of our goal allowing them to score in the formers case) , we might actually have a decent run in. Despite the recent criticism of our individual players I thought we looked more like a team yesterday than Man City, who play like a collection of individuals who rely on a few superstars to dig them out of any holes.
