It proves it is extremely difficult to go down to 10 men against Bayern. However, any tactician other than Wenger, against top opponents. would play two deep banks of 4, with one lone forward, in order to keep the score down. This denies the opposition the space to get in behind and score.

Why worry about keeping the score down. Surely it was best to go for goals as that's what we needed. Winning one nil wouldn't have done tosh.

Tuesday night was just an extention of the first leg where we capitulated like a pack of card as well. We can dress it all up whatever way we want but we got hammered and embarrassed again, especially when it mattered.
