Very good performance, very good result against a woeful Chelsea team.

Happy days, happy Dags.

Chelsea were woeful last season too mate but still managed to beat us home and away so I'm totally dismissing Chelsea and concentrating 100% on the significance of us beating them.

The first 27 times Arsene took on Chelsea we totally dominated them and were consistently in the thick of the title race year after year, the last 27 its been Chelsea dominating us consistently in a period where we haven't managed to put in one single serous challenge.

I'm hoping today is the start of a whole new chapter for both Arsenal and Arsene.

Dags, as I'm a honest fan I thought you boys were excellent today, but I also thought this was one of the worst Chelsea sides in many years. The only sides who look impressive so far is man city, Liverpool, spurs and Arsenal.

The big problem we have going forward (future wise) is it is plainly obvious we would have been bogged down with slow moving football if giroud had started. Will walcot and sanchez keep him on the subs bench for the next 20 games, they have to do. The midfield area luckily enough we are strong, hopefully coq won't be missed (best tackler in the team) defence will be reliant on kos and mustaffi so no injuries there needed. Best team performance since citehs and utds demolition. It can't be a one off though, its got to be the way we play every game, no tippy tappy pass pass. Chelski couldn't have got much more wrong but at least we had the tools to punish them.

Absolutely Gent's.

Good point Steve, I thought that last night. I think this is a formation AW will stick with.

With Giroud playing the first and third goal would be highly unlikely.

There will be games for Olly I'm sure he is a different option and offers that plan B we've all moaned about not having for years, yesterday we were superbly brilliant but there will be games we need to approach differently or need to change our approach in to get 3pts apposed to just the 1pt or even 0pts
I think Theo summed things up perfectly yesterday when he said " we've been here before onky for it all to come to nothing " " but the past is the past and we are working very hard to make it different this time"
I like that attitude a lot because it's true of both himself and the team but no body can rewind the clock and go back and do it again it's all about learning from mistakes and things we got wrong and putting them right to make the future better better than the past.

A lot of positives and some great moments, Ozil dummying Kante, Bellerins covering tackle, how fast is that guy?

Kostafi looking a very good pairing, Walcott showing what he should be doing every week and Sanchez getting back to his best.

Lets see this teams game face every week.

Ozil giving his shirt to a young gunner.

Gunner we will miss giroud defending our own set pieces and corners but as a striker he is so ineffective to a fluid attack. There will be the odd game he may be useful as a target but his future is off the bench. Our problems come when he again through unavailability, he becomes our main striker. People will push perez into the debate but we haven't seen enough of him yet to say he will step in.

That is fantastic, thanks for putting that up Red.
What an absolutely brilliant way to end an absolutely brilliant day for everyone at at Arsenal and one young fan in particular, love it.
