A few weeks back people were hoping little Leicester city would slip up and give the once mighty Arsenal a fighting chance and now out of more desperation people are hoping Poch leaves Spurs followed by Kane and co so we don't end up as North London also rans in the years ahead.
I know this sounds a bit outrageous and maybe just a little too radical for most but what do you think of the idea!
We actually take responsibility for our own position and do something about it for once rather than keep hoping things go badly for those above us so we can get a look in?
Bad idea, far to extreme? Ok as we were then Poch and Raneiri out now!

G62 Arsenal fans will always want bad stuff to happen to Spurs and vice versa it's not desperation just detest. As always you need to focus on your own ship first and spuds failing as a nice extra.

Sanogo mate I said around October that Spurs becoming a force again will in the long run be good for Arsenal and I still think it will be.
There looks no end insight for the Arsene cosy club while the Arsenal double of top 4 and above Spurs was pretty much a given.
But Spurs anr Leicester have thrown down the gauntlet and others like Liverpool West ham will most likely follow suit next season, sooner or later we will have to pick it up for ourselfs rather than rely on some big clubs to do it for us by pinching the managers and players of those who are closing the gap at very fair rate of knots.
We have been riding our luck for years but the wind of change is most definitely blowing in our direction.

Sano, I disagree, only the small minded detest each other, as I always state we are but fans! And everybody gets better when you have a competitor, that's in all of us, to achieve! So are teams should get better when our rivals get better.

We shouldn't be using the spuds as a yardstick especially this season we should look at ourselves as to wether we are moving forwards standing still or going backwards. The spurs thing is just local bragging rights not where you are or are going. If we are comparing ourselves to spuds for one season and using that as a barometer of success, we are going nowhere. They look at themselves and have different goals for success and so do we. We should be judged on our improvement on the field and for league and champs league success and how close we are. They are having for them one good season, just like liverpool two seasons ago, we are having a typical arsenal season end of.

The problem is Steve Spurs and top 4 are our barometers and what pases and has been for years been passing as success, they are the yard stick that keep the vast majority inline.
Just wait and see in a few weeks how excited everyone gets and how much credit Arsene receives when we clinch the Arsenal double yet again,
Long after getting left a long way behind by Leicester city in the title race is forgotten the fans the players the manager and board will be banging on about 20 years of CL football and North Londons dominance.
It really is where we're at as a club and have been since Arsene invented the 4th place trophy so we too had somthing to compete for each season.

Ok NE I agree detest is the wrong word but it is definatly dislike that's normal and it's part of what makes football IMO . It's also the reason you show up here because I doubt you would get a reaction elsewhere. But I agree Steve we shouldn't use Spurs as a yard stick and you could argue they as well as Leicester have taken advantage of other teams been poor. But you can only beat what's in front of you and we haven't even done that this year. Again.

Sano, I don't dislike you or any other goon, my business partner is in fact a goon. And further I don't even know you! yes your a fan of a rival team but so what? Does that mean I'm to dislike everyone who doesn't support Spurs? I love the riavalry and yes there has been a few of your fans on here and that visit our site that go too far and are clearly not worth the response, Malaga Gooner for one has been quite rude, and again he doesn't even know me! Just shows a level of intellect.
Yes we all look for reactions from our rivals, our two especially, but these sites are for just that, for banter and a laugh.
Us fans shouldn't take rivals too serious and try to enjoy the rivalry, hopefully this will push on our own teams and make them much better.
I must also say that I have also received quite a lot of consructive, good fair banter with a few of the lads on here.

Good post NE mate I totally agree you can't or atleast shouldn't not like someone based on which team they support that's totally irrational, people on both sides take things to far sometimes by simply by getting carried away and with out really meaning to and over step the banter mark without thinking, others more deliberately to be offensive but luckily they are few and far between and don't usually last more than a few months before getting themselves banned.
Personally the two clubs I dislike most are Manchester United and Chelsea but I have swapped excellent banter with some Chelsea lads and the likes of Honey badger Rosie and couple of others who's names I can't think of from the utd page are really good people ( even CTR wasnt all bad until he refused to give me an invite to his wedding in Fen Ditton :-) Your own Spurs 1985 is a top bloke who is not only is interesting to swap opinions with but great at giving and taking some ligh humoured banter with.
I have a lot of respect for you to NE mate, even though I know you've pretty much accepted this won't be the season Spurs finally finish above Arsenal for the umteenth time runnning you still come on here to swap opinions and banter just like before and respect to to for that mate.

I wasn't on about a dislike of you or any other Spurs fan I was on about a dislike for the club or if you look at it from back to front then I don't like Spurs.
