Pointless international friendlies "we made a league so there not friendlies now" yet the next comp is 2 years away, it does my nut in . we're in a major competitions right now n we have to deal with important players getting injured for pointless international games.
That goes for every club not just The Arsenal. They just come back from a World Cup. give em a break.

You are absolutely spot on Jegs mate.

Players need a summer break in between world cups and euros and internationals during the season should be restricted to qualifying games for those two tournaments only
Absence makes the heart grow fonder and the honor of winning an international cap is deminshed when they are handed out like confetti. Less is definitely sometimes more, make representing your country special again by limiting the caps handed out and make watching your country play special again by making it a rare occasion rather than like missing a bus, knowing another one will come along before you know it.

Hey Bill, hope you're well mate.
Same for you 62, I must say that was very well put n completely agree .getting an international cap nowadays just doesn't seem like a privilege to players anymore, To many needless games. Almost trying to make it another league like premiership, la liga, seria A etc etc. less is more when it comes to international contest, you can't earn that privilege over 3 weeks of football.
Like I said well said mate.
