I was about to go on a rampage about VAR for that disallowed goal. But then when I watched it closely it was definitely a foul. Everyone was looking where the contact was and how hard it but actually Ben White was holding Ward's hand and honestly it was the right call. It's a shame really cause that was such a great goal.

Agree mate. I was a bit disappointed however because we have had the same thing happen to Ramsdale several times last season with no call so if it's going to be enforced as it should be, I hope the rule will be applied consistently from now on.

Probably a good decision but the Saka penalty was a poor and obvious error.

I think it's important to be honest and accept when var decisions that go against us are correct, personally I am not a fan of var as the long delays are not good for spectators, I'd rather accept an honest instant decision whether it's correct or not than wait 8 minutes to reach a more informed decision that should in theory be be more accurate.
Maybe limiting var to 60 seconds would be a good compromise.

I agree - if it’s clear and obvious then it shouldn’t take 100 angles and 60 views to decide. 60 seconds should be enough time.

Hi SY I think we have to accept imperfections throughout life if we are to enjoy life, and football is no different
We can of course waste our time demanding 100% perfection from var and var could go to the ultimate extreme of suspending play indefinitely until every computer program and every expert has had the opportunity to achieve 100% conclusive evidence that the refs decision was either right or wrong, but I doubt anyone anywhere would want to go to those extremes to get an off side/ handball or foul correct.
So I think we have to say 60 seconds no more and accept whatever comes at the end of that minute with good grace and get on with enjoying a football match rather than a court room drama.
