Someone asked a great question - why does Arteta try to be way to clever in team selections but ultimately looking like we weakens 3 positions by being stubborn.
Why move Timber to leftback, Partey to right back and Jorginho into midfield while Tierney a natural left-back sits on the bench.
Feels stubborn and stupid to me.
Defence weaker, attack down flanks weaker, weakens attack down lhs, weakens midfield and overall makes us slower and weaker.
WHY?
Stubborn?
Lack of ambition?
Playing it super defensive / bottled it?
Am I one of the Fab 2?
Always good to challenge the status quo esp when it's not working.
Not the first or last time Arteta does weird stuff like this.
MOTD2 giving us a hard time for being pedestrian and no right hand side to our attack meaning it's easy to defend against Saka and Ode. Why can't our manager see that and adapt. He got out managed by the Fulham manager.
Come on Arteta - sort it out for the fans sake.
