Tomorrow is a must win game for us,5pts behind is difficult and 8 behind a very formidable Liverpool team will feel like a mountain too far, but just 2pts would feel very doable.

If it were only Liverpool I'd say musn't lose, but with city in the equation I agree its basically win or goodbye any hope

{Ed025's Note - i have a feeling that its last chance saloon G62, a loss would put you 8 points behind mate and though maybe not mathematically impossible it would be realistically, but if you do win that would be massive and it would be game on thats for sure, a draw would suit City of course but this is a pivotal game in the season and will decide whether we have a 3 horse race or a match between City and Liverpool....COYG..

Hi Ed025 and Banbury while we obviously can't win the league today we can make a statement that says " count us in " this seasons title race by beating Liverpool, realistically defeat would make the opposite statement in my opinion
If we can't step up today it's not the end of the world or even the end of our re-emergence as a competitive force it would simply be a realisation that there is still a lot of work yo be done and lessons that absolutely must be learned and addressed by next August.
{Ed025's Note - very true G62, i think you are competitive at the top end of the table which is an improvement, its that final step of actually winning it that is always the most difficult mate..

Judging by the lack of January activity by all clubs I think the ffp rules finally being enforced has all club's nervously cautious about their spending, how club's act this summer will be interesting Banbury mate few will want to draw any attention to themselves that doesn't already exist mate. The return of bargain basement shopping for all might not be such a bad thing for a few seasons.

Your spot on John, it is a must win game, but like Mal i am confident of a Arsenal win. We should have beaten them in the cup and would have done if we had taken our chances in the first half.
