Up to 4th place.
Great performance from Guendouzi.

Agree3 Disagree0

Only 2 points behind Leicester and miles ahead of West ham on alphabetical order :-)
Is there no beginning to what Emerys Arsenal can achieve!
Oh and if you get behind Xhaka your likely to get hit by a ball he didn't fancy dealing with himself:-)

30 Sep 2019 22:28:56
Just how bad were our set pieces tonight.

30 Sep 2019 22:50:56
What did you make of the starting 11 and tactics?

30 Sep 2019 23:14:18
Sy, i thought the starting 11 was always going to be that, the only one for me that could have been changed was xhaka and that wasn't going to happen. Tactics were ok, i had no problem with what i saw, my problem was some personell not upto the job asked. To have torreira in and chambers away from home was spot on, even if it didn't work out that way. Sako was a great addition tonight, he looks another young lad bursting on to the scene for us. Willock, Gouendouzi, Sako all look top notch talent. We got a draw and could have sneaked a win, that's fair to me.

Think we would have been punished if Utd actually knew which way the goal was. Hard to make anything of our tactics - were we decent, or were they just awful?

What's clear to me after this match is that Pepe needs a rest, and badly. Play Auba alone up front and give him support from Saka/ Ceballos/ Willock as needed. Nelson should get a game too.

01 Oct 2019 09:54:19
Take away Auba and we are a mid table side with some promising youngsters, apart from Auba Lacca and Leno none of our senior players are unreliable, but are they really all that poor a players or are they simply being made to look poor with the way we play?

Stop moaning.
Positives, we can finish the week in 3rd place, ahead of Chelsea, Man U and Toot.
We can finish the week with two wins in the EL, out of two matches.
We are in the next round of the League Cup.
Our youngsters are playing well.
Get behind the manager, the captain and the team.

01 Oct 2019 12:00:46
Stop moaning about me moaning and get behind the Emery out campaign and the pursuit of a champions league level manager and captain.

01 Oct 2019 20:05:44
You made me laugh out load 62.

Steve - a draw at OT generally is pretty good but I thought Utd were in turmoil and there for the taking. Most people thought we would win. That shouldn’t change because we drew. West Ham stuffed them. we should have done better but if we want to feel good because it’s Utd Away then 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊.
Doesn’t change the fact that we set up negatively again but still couldn’t defend and whenever an opponent wants to - they cut or cross through us like a hot knife through butter.
I do sound a bit negative but the option about watching Emery’s Arsenal is just as crazy as the super super negative posts. There were positives - yes but none from Emery or the areas we employed him to do.
How’s Rogers doing at Leicester by the way - how’s West a ham doing - guess their managers need time to bed in. it’s not just this site that thinks Emery is clueless and I’m still waiting to hear a decent argument from anyone on Emery’s defensive skills, coaching, making tough decisions, not tinkering, etc etc etc. The one positive I hear is the Youth which hasn’t much to do with Emery with the youth talking about Freddie not Emery. If he was close to the youth - why did he let key players go. If he had any sense why sell Nacho and play kola LB. so many stupid ass decisions.
It’s so bad I’m considering giving up on the team until they replace Emery. My personal time and money is worth something. Emery is not paying me a dividend nor tempting me to invest in his vision. There’s lots of things competing for supporters eyes ( Wenger said as much ) - then put on a display and tell me why I should waste my time and money going to a game or watching on BT / Sky. I’ve got plenty tips that don’t pay out. I watch because I love our club but this dimwit is testing me.
Fair weather fan - whatever
Wenger lover - whatever
AFC fan - yep
Emery out - sooner the better
Entitled to my opinion and is it founded on facts and what I see - yep
Happy to be wrong - yep but not hearing any facts except Utd, Spurs suck hence we are doing “well. ” That sounds like pathetic talk to me.

This isn’t targeted at all at you - you got me thinking about a draw at OT and I almost accepted it but then remembered how 💩 Utd are. This is a Emery’s second season and had time and money. I’m picky how I waste mine plus set high reasonable standards. If one of my employees said I've had a good year because I did better than those poor performers over there. I would know I had issues as we have to consistently improve and address weaknesses in our own teams. Would your boss be so patient?

Not at you bud and thanks for making me think.

01 Oct 2019 21:07:56
I actually made myself laugh when I wrote that too SY mate :-)
I do think it's funny when someone thinks they have the right to tell other people what they are allowed to or should think feel or agree and disagree with :-)
How very dare they :-)

Debate and challenging what others claim is brilliant because it's democracy and the freedom to disagree while dictatorship is only for those who are incapable of winning a debate and accepting other people might not share their views and opinions.

01 Oct 2019 21:10:00
Sy, its your make up, you can't help it, you like to find something to moan about nearly everything. No one is saying it is all rosey but we will see with utd in "turmoil" how many teams roll up there and smack them. I find with you if Emery goes all out attack he is stupid and if he plays more defensive he should be more attacking. Its a result business and when we don't get results then action, i believe will be taken.

And even if it is all 100% freddie that the youth come in and do ok and nothing to do with Emery, then well done Freddie, i just doubt it is quite as simplistic as that. I have to say you wear my moaning crown with distinction, it fits great.

01 Oct 2019 22:17:16
Steve - you made me smile and yes my neck is aching with your crown but to be fair my criticism has been pretty consistent and backed up with statistics ( shots against shows our defensive issues ) . I want the defence sorted but to still play attractive football. How are the new managers doing I reference? My opinions have been backed up by numerous pundits, ex-pros etc.
I’ve stated what would make me happy and encouraged people to debate our different opinions but no real back up except we haven’t regressed as much as a spurs or Utd. May be we should celebrate mediocracy?

5 captains? ?
Players vote?
Ozil dropped and then made captain
Let Rambo and Nacho go
Short goal kicks and put us under pressure
Play a back 4 with Luiz and Kola in it
Rest Ozil midweek and don't play him Saturday
No creative players Vs Utd
Poor set pieces / marking
Letting runners go and still exposed at back
Attempts on our goal

Good thing - he shouts bollocks from the touch line

There you go - I proved your point

Surely I’m entitled to my opinion as the over positive posts on Emery - why are you happy as it’s no better than Wengers worst year You’ve lowered your standards 😂😂😂😂.

01 Oct 2019 23:11:49
There you go again Sy, what over positive posts. Most people have been pretty realistic what's going on. It ain't great but at the moment we are there or there abouts were we can realistically expect us to be. Your posts are always looking for the negative which even when its bad gets boring, ask the expert, me! . You repeat a lot of what we already know, ask the expert, me. I had a rest over the summer and looked at some of the dross i used to repeat week after week and realised, i was boring and repetitive. I did give wenger a fair crack of mediocrity before i changed for good though. We might be up to 3rd this weekend or we might be down to 8th but for some on here, 3rd will still mean moaning about something Emery did or didn't do. If we are 8th they will want him sacked. Its all a bit tedious at the moment. i'm looking forwards not backwards at the moment. When/ if it turns for the worse, then serious debate on his ability to take us any further would be a lot more realistic and not so futile as it is at the moment, regardless of how we look.
