It's great to see how unethical behaviour is dealt with in football

Barcelona have been fined only 300 euros by the Spanish Football Federation for their approach to Antoine Griezmann while he was at Atletico Madrid. They signed Griezmann for his 120m-euro buyout clause!

How do you come up with a €300 fine

Obviously the Spanish fa feel there was a technical rather than ethical breach of the rules and are upholding the rules While at the same time showing they feel the whole thing was a farce in the first place.
Whitch hunts looking for any possible reason to beat the big successful clubs with a stick is becoming a popular sport now days, City do a clean sweep of English trophies so it's obviously time to find some dirt on them, Liverpool will be next because it's the way of things right now.
If you aren't good enough to get even then get mad instead.

Not sure City’s sponsorship deals etc are genuine - that’s clearly an issue

Think a €300 fine just is a stupid message. Better off saying no fine and move on. football doesn’t need more bad attention. Crazy paid diving, moaning and cheating individuals where racism isn’t always dealt with. when we get the opportunity we should act accordingly.

I wonder how much it cost in time and wages for a group of people to come to a judgement and decide on a fine? Waste of time.

{Ed002's Note - I don’t think any of you actually understand this matter.}

Barcelona announced the signing of Griezmann in July for €120 million but Atletico complained that the Catalan club had not paid enough to trigger the player's buy-out clause.

The clause had dropped from €200m to €120m on July 1, but Atletico claim that Griezmann's May 14 announcement that he was leaving the club is proof a deal was struck between the player and Barcelona earlier.

However, the judge considered Barcelona only started negotiating with Griezmann after the player's announcement.

Barcelona have appealed the fine, stating, paying would be an admission of guilt.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained it on the Liverpool banter page.}

Ed, I would love to be educated. I’m just highlighting the message it demonstrates to the man in the street.

{Ed002's Note - Try the Liverpool page and it will become clear to the man on the street.}

Hi Ed002 i can not find anything on the Liverpool pages even done a search.

{Ed002's Note - Obviously someone has deleted it.}

I have found it now Ed002 but for some reason when I go to the Liverpool page from the links to other rumours sites not all the posts show up but if I go to it from a new google search it shows up everything.

{Ed002's Note - That is interesting. Something for Ed033 to look at. Thanks.]

Hi Ed002, the link on hear takes me to liverpool-banter.co.uk, but from google it takes me to liverpool-rumours.co.uk/liverpool-banter.php - this one has more posts but both seem to have new posts.

{Ed033's Note - Yes, we have a separate Liverpool banter web site with less banter posts on it at liverpool-banter.co.uk and a Liverpool banter web page on liverpool-rumours.co.uk. To view all the Liverpool banter posts, you go to the Banter page on the liverpool-rumours.co.uk site.

I have changed the link on here for all those who can't spell, 'here'. :)
