Well that Martinelli looks a bit good doesn't he?
All in all a great game for the youngsters. Tierney looks special and I'll be glad to see him replace Kolasinac in the near future. Holding looks everything that Soc and Luiz are not.
Now if only we could convince Emery to swap Xhaka out with Willock or Torriera then maybe we'd start to see a premiership improvement.
Bring on the Mancs. A win there would do wonders for team confidence. COYG!

Just me who thinks willock is our best midfielder? The energy he has in brilliant which makes the other players around him try harder. Our midfield 3 should be torriera willock and guenduzi.

But Olber mate at least 1 of those 3 players will sit on the bench and watch Xhaka next Monday night.
There is no one single thing Emery could do that would improve the team performance improve fans optimism leveld and improve fans opinion of Emery than simply dropping Xhaka out of the picture.
It's scandalous that we have to go out a man short each week with such an abundance of talented midfield players to chose from.
If Xhaka name was missing from the team sheet at old Trafford it would instantly raise everyone's spirits and expectations.

Xhaka out!, xhaka out!, xhaka out! Its a massive blind spot by Emery, we have skillful energetic players that can play but he sticks to slow plain boring slow moving non tackling xhaka. What do these managers see in xhaka? Get them banners out for xhaka, it needs ramming home to the blind. Tierney, holding and chambers look like they should be pushing for defensive spots also. I can cope with one of soc and luiz but 100% not both considering the options now becoming available. Chambers has been very impressive since his return, when he has been used. I guess that with players returning, amn at right back is no more.

No one should need to force the manager to do the right thing he should do it because it's so obviously right and best for the team.
3 years and counting and still 99% of people still struggle to understand why Xhaka players at all let alone each and every week or how he can be our captain.
3 seasons at Arsenal and 3 years no top 4 finishes after 20 consecutive top 4 finishes before he arrived, why not at least try 10 consecutive games without him and see if things improve?

You can go back years gunner, managers from lots of teams have stuck by players fans didn't like for reasons beyond fans. Its because of all sorts of reasons the manager wants but the fans dont. Also the opposite, players not getting their chance because he doesn't fit the managers ideal. Generally these decisions sort themselves out one way or another, i don't know if its stubbornness, favoritism or just blindness but the longer they leave it, usually ends in not favourable cicumstances for someone.

Agree Steve things will sort themselves out eventually it's just frustrating not going into games giving ourselves the best chance possible, people are split on Ozil but when he's hot he's breathtaking, Luis hasn't got off to exactly a brilliant start but even with all the errors there have been good tackles excellent blocks and headed clearances, Iwobi Theo Gibbs Mertesacker Plodolski all frustrated but at times did all come up with the goods but Xhaka has never once stole the show or had a game where you think " wow if only he could do that more often ". His absolute best so far in 3 years into his virtually unbroken run of Arsenal appearances is half decent very very occasionally and " didn't do too much wrong today "very occasionally.
