So far this season in our 5 premier league games we have faced 96 shots against our gowl while creating 65 shots on the oppositions goal.
Burnley Newcastle Watford Liverpool all created more opportunities for themselves than they conceded to us.
Only Spurs failed to create more opportunities than they conceded to us this season
Newcastle 9 Arsenal 8
Burnley 18 Arsenal 15
Liverpool 25 Arsenal 9
Spurs 13 Arsenal 26
Watford 31 Arsenal 7
When you consider 3 of the 5 teams we've played so far will almost certainly finish in the bottom half of the league it doesn't take a genius to see if we continue to ignore this issue we aren't going to be back in the top 4 any time soon.
Why doesn't Emery at least try to resolve this issues?
It's nothing new as last season we also conceded more opportunities than we created over the 38 games becoming the first top 6 side to do so in 6 years.

I know mate the irronay wasn't lost on me either Sussex mate:-)
I guess at least with these stats we have what we see for ourselves each week to back them up and no matter how twist or manipulate them it's difficult to make them look positive for Arsenal and any hopes of top 4 return.
Ole and Frank both failing more miserably than Emery is our only chance I can see :- (.

Sussex, i think he really used the stats to show how crap the spuds stat is in that. They are in real trouble if they can only manage 13 and let us have 26. Lol.

Watching the Watford game we just had too many ahead of the ball which meant us being outnumbered if we didn’t score . No wonder we have tons of chances against us, surely just a tweak in tactics and attitude which as yet hasn’t worked . Surely they must know if an idiot like me can see it COYG PS cue Sp*rs fans bitching about VAR - now there’s irony for you 62 😂.

Absolutely Sussex mate :-) var has merely replaced the refs instant decisions where by sometimes they cost you other times they bail you out and regardless of whether they are right or wrong fans always moan when they go against them but say little when they work for them :-) .
Over a season Var or Ref alone things usually even themselves up both ways.
United fans say if Rashford and Pogba had scored their penalties they'd be clear in 3rd place but are some point over the season teams will miss penalties against United letting them off the hook, after game 38 each team finishes where they're own merits get them and the losses make excuses and winners celebrate :-)
