Interesting take on Gazidis departing having watched yesterday's Sunday Supplement. I couldn't understand why he was departing having finally seen Wenger replaced and his ability to influence matters increase. The inrsease of a million in salary could have been matched by the club, if they wanted to keep him and he wanted to stay. My take is that Kroenke has taken complete control od the club and Josh Kroenke is becoming far more involved at the club. Possibly decisions were being taken above Gazidis and hence having been dominated by Wenger, he found himself now having Josh Kroenke being more influential at the club. Quite frankly I doubt we will miss him, as he oversaw a poor-ish era at the club, with players contracts running down being a major failing. Since the new guys came in contracts are being tied up, except Ramsey, and decisions such as allowing Wilshere to go are being made. The new Managing Director seems to be a 'res' man. I'm not sure about Sanllehi. I do still mss the days of Dein and Fiszman, who were awesome.
