So Granit serves 3 march ban for "violent conduct" while the referee get dropped to division 1 for being crap

Not sure it was violent conduct

Not sure where this "new rule" is

Not sure we will see consistency

Not sure it was actually a red card by the rules but I wish tackles like that plus tugging shirts with no intention to play the ball is a red as it will suit footballing teams.

Take your rose tinted glasses off mate, lol.

Definitely a foul, made no attempt to get the ball.

Violent? I guess if you bring a player down, whilst not making a genuine attempt to get the ball, it could be classed as violent.

Harsh? Possibly, but the player's know the rules.

DG - see my last sentence : I wish tackles like that plus tugging shirts with no intention to play the ball is a red as it will suit footballing teams.

Tackle was not violent it's just politics being forced into football.

He prevented a 4 on 2 situation. He hoped he'd get away with a yellow but, either way, he had to do it and I'm very glad he did.
