i believe that Arsenal are in real trouble regardless of the corporate messages coming from the board and manager.

Arsene Wenger has clearly reached the end of his tenure, and players like Sanchez, Ozil and Bellerin will want to leave for bigger things. The majority of the squad are very average indeed, players like Iwobi, Elneny, Giroud, Wellbeck, Perez, Jenkinson, Oxlaide-Chamberlain, Walcott, Xhaka, Coquellin, Gibbs, Holding, Paulista, Martinez, Debuchy, Ospina and even Ramsey are surely not title challenging players.

Cazorla, Sanchez and Ozil are class, and Cech is a safe pair of hands for the short term. My fear is they want Champions League and Sanchez and Ozil are 29 next season and Cazorla will be 33. After such an injury Cazorla might never be the same at his age and Sanchez and Ozil will want to have the final chapter in a top football club.

So this leaves Arsenal with no Wenger as he will surely gets sacked after Man Utd beat you. Sanchez and Ozil off for a fraction of their value, Cazorla probably never returning to the first XI, and a squad of average players.

Then you have a huge loss of Champions League revenue which if repeated for 3-5 years will destroy the club financially.

So perhaps a new manager like Conte will sign but I sincerely doubt that any world class manager will risk taking on a sinking ship, and even if they did I doubt world class players will want to sign without Champions League football.

Arsenal are a quality club with a great stadium and pedigree. The future looks dark at The Emirates, and I think deep down most will agree with this post albeit reluctantly!

Yep pretty much correct. We have been drifting down on a slow painful decline now for the last few years and need a total revamp. New owners, new board, new manager and new players. Arsenal is big club with lots of money and commercial clout and should never accept Spurs being in much better shape really. Arsenal need fresh passion and direction from top to bottom.

Look at Utd they had a season much below par with LVG but they are not messing about as it's just not acceptable to them and getting back to where they should be under Mourinho, it will only be a mater of time (Nest season most likely) and money obviously before they are right up there again challenging.

I read the bitter twaddle you'd written on your own page fella prior to yesterday's game in your utter desperation to make out you are a big club.

You need to take that bunch of lemons out of your mouth son.

Like I've said before spurs are a good side this year but unless they take the title then people will soon forget.

As for world class signings which ones did Poch sign? None to the best of my knowledge.
But he has built a very strong effective competitive unit without spending a fortune to achieve it.
Vast amounts of money can make building a team easier but it doesn't make it full proof and neither does spending wisely and getting the best out of a group of hard working non world class players make achieving big things impossible on a modest budget, Leicester Spurs are recent very good examples of this.

The problem spurs have is 1.turning points into prizes 2.when people look back we could win the FA cup this year.3. Try to keep your players.

Because you have a team of mercenaries who wouldn't play for Arsenal if you didn't bribe them. That is exactly the problem with the squad!

You will soon find out the horrible truth of Europa League football. Top players like Mbappe won't sign unless you pay £100M and budget breaking wages on top. If Arsenal follow this path then they will soon become the next Leeds or Nottingham Forest.

Sanchez is good enough for top teams to find the money. Don't you worry someone will buy him soon, and you will be faced with nightmare becoming a reality!

Gir oud is the highest scoring striker in the Premiership this season on minutes played. Slow but massively underrated and one you might regret selling.

Monreal is a good squad player, but no more than that.
