Bane and Batman in the same lineup. The rest of the league thinks we will bottle it again but this time we're going to have all the tools to win trophies. I think we can all admit we had limitations in depth and quality over the last 5 years. Arteta has kept building year on year, pruning away our limitations and adding more and more quality. Just look at our potential squad now compared to when he took over, and even to the 2022/ 2023 squad. I believe that we are going to have that little bit extra this upcoming season, and will finally make all the Arsenal-obsessed trolls eat their words. ?.

Definitely have more options up our sleeve which will hopefully give Arteta more in game tactical change options which he or the team lacked in past 3 years. Plus hopefully the squad and young manager are more wise also. Boss has done well over past 5 years but inexperience / stubborness / bottle to go for wins has cost us. That’s part of learning and he does love the club. If he gets Eze then zero excuses and huge hope for the season.

Hi ed. Is there any truth behind us and Marquinhos, with regards to him signing a pre contract with wolves, so unable to sign for us?

{Ed002's Note - He signed an illegal contract and his club are forced to sell him or release him. I cannot see how a contract could legally be signed with Wolves.}

Hi fellow gooners. Bit random, but, looking at how Mosquera has performed, think saliba has genuine competition. Over the last couple of seasons when (apparently) Madrid were looking at Saliba, We probably all feared the worst. Now, with Mosquera, that doesn't seem as frightening. 100% we'd all love to keep Saliba, he's absolutely quality. I think my point is, Mosquera is looking very very good. To go on at anfield early in the game, then forest and bilbao away, and perform like he has is incredible. I know there is tougher games to overcome, but to play that many games for valencia before turning 20, coming into a new league and preforming like he has, all for £13million. love this guy already.

Hi Ramsgate, in previous seasons losing one of Saka or Saliba spelled big trouble for us and losing both at the same time would have been virtually impossible for us to cope with, but so far this season their absence hasn't been anything like the devastating blow it would have been prior to this season.
Still the sooner they are both back 100% fit the better ?.

Not saying we should sell Saliba, but the successful model for turning the club into long-term competitors has to include selling high as soon as players begin to come down from their peak. Saliba will leave Arsenal one day. Maybe not such a scary thought now?

Agree, if we were offered ridiculous money for saliba, and mosquera continues to perform like he has, there's a substantial profit 2b made and replaced with what looks like a very fine alternative.

Got a feeling odegaard cover will be rotated between havertz (if gyokeres) plays and nwanieri as that's kai's natural position. Max dowman must get a look in as well in cups, don't want to prevent this gem's game time.

I know all relevant parties have to agree, but, wouldn't it be great to offer sporting Fabio Viera either on loan or sale to help get deal over the line, obviously reducing the main fee.

Forget our need for striker. I reckon our money should be spent on trying to lure Enrique as manager. Really don't mind arteta, but, personally I think Enrique could even turn ben white into a 15+ striker.
That man was great manager already, but since his own personal tragedy regarding his daughter, he's gone steps above that.
He just seems/ comes across as a really decent person and i'm so pleased for him. Although they were 2nd best in Europe behind us (artera) ?.

Hi Sy. Personally, hope we keep Kiwior. He 100% proved he's a decent player at bsck end of last season. Saliba, gabs, Kiwior and lad from valencia as our choices at CB would be brilliant as well as others that could cover in emergency (white, timber, calafiori)
We've looked good defensively for last couple of seasons, add to that Kepa, its a solid backline with good reinforcement.

Yes, really good post shambo. Different style of player (and I'm not for one minute we'll go for, or are interested in) but you'd probably get ward-prowse for less, and with bags more experience behind him.

Not sure I agree with Nwanieri comment, I think his performances have been OK. They were better last season when he had a run of games, in fact he was our best player for most of them. Maybe, because he performed so well, then didn't get many opportunities after that might of affected him, I don't know. But, for his age, he's certainly not disappointing me. Maybe because of his early showings we were expecting big things constantly, don't know. Probably same with MLS, not sure what's happening there.
Anyway, let's hope this future arsenal breed carry on the levels they've previously shown.

Just have a feeling that Havertz will be the cover for Ode as that is his natural position. And, if we miss out on Eze, that would at least let Nwanieri get more game time, as I think he's got bags of talent. Plus, dowman will get handful of games, mostly in cups. Just my opinion, but, I'd prefer to not stunt this young talent we've got. They've both shown they can perform against top sides, its just a question of not over playing them. So potentially, we've got 3 other players that can cover ode
Again, just my opinion COYG.
