Ssn saying Tierney having a medical tomorrow.

MgM

1.) 07 Aug 2019 21:12:37
Good news. Now let's get a CB and crack on with turning the club around in the right direction.

2.) 07 Aug 2019 22:26:25
It is sweet, they're also saying Luiz will sign in morning not keen on that one.

3.) 07 Aug 2019 22:32:09
Both better than what we have.

4.) 07 Aug 2019 22:52:39
Luiz good signing I think. Let’s put it this way, better than Mustafi? I think so.

{Ed018's Note - he’s much better than Mustafi. Mustafi was one of the worst center backs I saw play last season}

5.) 07 Aug 2019 21:28:06
I's it possible for an injured players to pass medicals?
I'm not sure what is involved in a football medical but I assume it's quite rigorous.

{Ed001's Note - yes they can.}

6.) 07 Aug 2019 23:45:00
Luiz would be a good signing. Scores regularly for a cb, can pass long range and good on the ball. And in fairness for less than 10m its worth a punt. Who else is available that wants to join arsenal?

7.) 08 Aug 2019 08:15:56
Thanks Ed001 mate, didn't know that for sure either way, Kim Kalstrom must have I guess :-) .

{Ed001's Note - Andy Carroll signed for Liverpool with a long term knee injury he had picked up falling off a bar stool in Derek Llambias' casino while inebriated. There are many other examples as well. You can't really fail a medical, it can just throw up issues that might put a team off signing a player.}

8.) 08 Aug 2019 09:36:37
I remember George Boyd failing a medical at Forest because they claimed he had poor eye sight, he went to play for Hull and Burnley in the premier league after that :-) .

9.) 08 Aug 2019 10:03:50
We brought in Kim Kallstrom with a broken back. it's possible.

Nelson scored his latest goal for Hoffenheim, a winner against Augsburg, just two minutes after being introduced as a sub.

It took his record in the Bundesliga this season to six goals from just 327 minutes, making him the most prolific goalscorer across Europe.

It's always good to see one of the youngsters doing well anyone watched him this season.

1.) 26 Nov 2018 05:59:19
Caught some of his performances here and there. Aggressive running, great positioning, and his finishes have been really composed. I've half a mind to say he's a better option than anyone we can offer on the right flank but I hope the club let him stick out the year over there, he's getting invaluable experience.

Useless fact of the day, Wellington silva signed for us 5 years ago (arriving a year later).
As anyone watched him play, and do you think he will fit into our team.

MgM

1.) 30 Jan 2015 21:19:04
Not sure he'll ever get a work permit unless he now has European passport. Never seen him play though. :-)

2.) 30 Jan 2015 21:21:01
Is he on loan to Almeria?

3.) 31 Jan 2015 01:25:11
Wellington Silva has now been granted at work permit for the start of the 2015/2016 season. Was granted to him on the 30th October last year.

4.) 31 Jan 2015 16:56:34
Won't make it here . Not a fan

02 Sep 2013 12:24:15
Ozil, ba and Viviano all going to sign according to bbc. As good as ba is not the striker I expected us to sign. Maybe just maybe this transfer window will not be wasted after all.

ed was told Stephan Lichtsteiner was a replacement for jenkinson so he can go out on loan to sunderland. And then become sagnas replacement the following season

Any of the Ed's know what edu's role involves at the club?
Just read what Martin keown had to say regarding him and Wenger and just wondered how much input he actually has on transfers and training.

MgM

{Ed002's Note - Edu as the role of "Technical Director" where he has minimal responsibility due to the strange structure at the club and promises have been made to another chap. Certainly "training" is well beyond his remit.}

1.) 23 Aug 2019 05:28:44
Whatever Edu’s role is at the club it’s great to have two Brazilian signings, Luiz and Martinelli.

2.) 22 Aug 2019 22:27:19
Wow if Edu's job becomes available I'm up for it, what's it pay like?

3.) 22 Aug 2019 23:26:05
Thanks ed was just hoping as a club we was moving forward rather than the last few years of Wenger.

{Ed002's Note - It is unrelated to M Wenger - this is the structure of the senior management.}

4.) 22 Aug 2019 23:39:24
Ed, what is the deal at our club behind the scenes. You elude to many promises and shambles. Very interested in what you have to say - opinion and fact. thanks.

{Ed002's Note - As I have explained before, the club has an overloaded senior management structure that was evidenced by the difficulty in recruiting a "Technical Director" - e.g. Monchi had no interest in working with no clarification of responsibilities; Andoni Zubizarreta had no interest in working in the strange set up the club has - which is why Sven Mislintat walked out; and Marc Overmars was not interested in working in the structiure Arsenal has. As I previously explained, Edu would perhaps being open to taking the job where he has minimal responsibility. There are other key figures in the mix as well - one of which Arsenal promised a senior role to - and that has also happened. The scouting structure is fixed and there is a chief negotiator - so what will Edu be doing? He can give advise about Brazilian youngsters certainly.}

Just seen what Sunderland have done to help people with autism attend matches, hopefully more clubs follow, and they get installed in every ground.

I'm sure I read somewhere, that he wanted to either get game time, or move on permanently.

Giroud we have no one to replace him, Hopefully we get someone in jan.
mhc I don't see mert as that hard to replace with tv5, with flamani sitting in front of him, I think he should be able to get back to his best

but an injury to one of our wingers at the minute then we will be stuck, hopefully no one will get injured.
