Reports suggest we are interested in jeremy jacquet. so i guess zinchenko or kiwior might leave.

Chelsea were sniffing like Mudryk round him!

Hi eds. do arsenal have any interest in semenyo?

Gunner_lyf

{Ed001's Note - not that I am aware of. It would be a surprise if you were as he is not an Arteta-type of player. His touch is not good enough.}

Thanks so much ed.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome.}

Hi eds. have we made any approach for eze?

Gunner_lyf

{Ed001's Note - I don't know, I know there is interest but I don't know if you have acted upon it, sorry.}

According to romano we have approached eze and wages won’t be a problem, but we havnt approached palace yet, i'm sure he said they want 60m full payment then 8 in addons bit arsenal are willing to offer 2 instalments i think he said.

Ed, hopefully you may have some insight on this even with it being very fresh and would like to hear you opinion either way. I believe had Isak become available a few weeks back, he'd be the one Arteta would have pushed for. Do you feel with Gyokeres signed, we could still push for Isak? he could maybe play in a Henry kind of role on the left wing/ forward position?

Also I heard Eze is carrying quite a big injury which is why all his transfer links have gone quiet in comparison to a few weeks ago.

{Ed014's Note - I think it’s fair to say that whether Isak has suddenly now indicated that he wants a move, clubs could have bid at any time. Doesn’t seem that anyone, including us, had.

Depending upon who you believe, his preferred option would be us, will we have the money as he’s not going to be cheap, Newcastle have no pressing need to sell and Ekitike has now signed for Liverpool, Newcastle having failed in their £70 million bid to buy him.

I don’t know about Eze but like you say, hardly a word said about him that I’ve seen.

I’d imagine Isak would be £80+ million as a conservative guess, that would take Liverpools spending to £330 million if they are in for him. Like us they do still have players to move on. I’d imagine they’d get close to £10 million for Nunez!

United are in need of a striker but doubt he’d go there, he’s too old for Chelsea and City have Haaland.

Just can’t see us buying both to be honest mate.

A bid will be made there is headroom in the finances and availability in wages. All the arsenal decision makers want him. Liverpool may regret awakening the transfer thoughts of Isak.

The word on the street is that Newcastle believe they can hold out for £130m for Isak as they have no need to sell. He's good but that's a mad price for his injury record. Gyokeres for half seems the better deal for me if it let's us reinforce in January if required.

Hello eds. has the gyokeres deal collapsed? Any updates? Also any outgoings?

Gunner_lyf

{Ed001's Note - not as far as I am aware. It is not a work of moments to negotiate contracts. You have to agree a deal. Then solicitors have to draw up a contract for both parties to read through. Usually there will be things that are sticking points, so back to solicitors to rewrite. Then another read through, usually something else crops up etc and it takes days. Drawing up the contracts alone is not quick, but then going through them to check there are no issues is also a slow process. Let alone the actual negotiations! You just have to have patience.}

Apparently the sporting director isn’t happy with the add ons Arsenal have put forward, so it’s back to the drawing board with the add ons, sporting want 10m in add ons and arsenal agreed, but Arsenal add ons only guarantee 3m the rest sporting think is not good enough that’s the only sticking point, bit all parties are in london they had two meetings yesterday one in the morning one in the evening.

Hello eds. have we bid for gyokeres? Its all in the news.

Gunner_lyf

{Ed014's Note - it certainly looks like it, but we need to be a little patient to see if we can get it over the line.

Wonder if there will still be another twist here. Leipzig apparently need to sell sesko. (if rumours are true) wonder if they'll suddenly want to talk now.

{Ed014's Note - I think quite a few before the end of the window, it’s like 7 weeks or more left.
