I agree Wilf but I'd rather have a choice I don't agree with than players taking it in turns to share a position, as with Shilton and Clemence under Ron Greenwood back in the day.

If Raya is Arteta number one then so be it but please let's go back to players taking it in turns to play.

Just enjoy the win mate get behind the team and manager trust the process. Hopefully thrash the spuds and put them in the place. The momentum is good going in to the game. Need the fans to stay on board rather than getting behind the media to devide us. Love ramsdale but he can do with a rest and I’m sure when he gets called upon he will continue to shine.

Thought Havertz was quite good tonight. Still couldn't finish his dinner and don't think he'll feature in the NLD but this was a great game to build some confidence.

I was thinking about this during the game and if Ramsdale wasn't English I don't think I would care, as Raya is a fantastic keeper.
I guess you form more support and a bond with players of the same nationality who play for your country.

I'm not totally sure what MA means by Ransdale and Raya sharing the role but if he means Ransdale will be relegated to domestic cup games I can't see Ransdale being happy with that will almost certainly want to leave. If Raya is now number one choice then fair enough if that's what MA has decided, at least it's a decision.

I thought raya was in for his kicking but he put the ball out of play at least 3 times last night… just feel sorry for ramsdale because he’s done nothing wrong.

The Premier league has an English, home grown player bias, don't 8 members of the named squad need to be English or homegrown at least, I don't believe the EPL has a quota on any other nationality but obviously other nations may their own quotas on the number of nationals/ homegrown player's required.
