I disagree Ox, as a plan B sure but the way we play and how good we've been is partly down to Jesus. Gabi wouldn't have had 15 goals without Jesus this season. He's nailed on, for me. Give Balogun a crack as second choice.

Sussex I just seen another reliable one saying Caicedo should be done in the next week or so, two of them would be great,
{Ed014's Note - the other thing to note about a striker is Man City have a 36 goal striker in Haaland.
Weirdly without such a striker we scored 6 goals less than them. ?♂️

I get what you are saying wire but we didn’t have anyone scoremore than 15 -not enough . Saka and Ode both got 15 each which is exceptional . Martinelli isn’t a point man
Just my opinion but we need a 25-30 a season man
Be interested to see what happens as pre season will soon be here.
{Ed014's Note - I think we did amazingly well without one but it certainly won’t do us any harm to get a top drawer striker if we can do that on top of the priorities in midfield and getting Saliba signed up.

I agree Ed trouble is who do you get? By all accounts Balogun has done well 21 in 30 odd games but what is the standard like . City struck gold with the big man, he didn’t even need settling in time and that’s rare in itself.
{Ed014's Note - he’s a machine though and made a mockery of everyone saying he wouldn’t fit their style.
I really don’t know mate, the likes of Oshimen and Vlahovic seem destined to go else where.
We need a player with excellent work rate too as that fits our style as all of Martinelli, Jesus and Saka work hard across our front like.
We know from Pepe that the French league can be deceiving in what it says about a player.
Balogun wasn’t great in is loan at Middlesbrough either but he was younger still.
I really don’t think Eddie is the answer although he did ok when Jesus was out.
I defo don’t want DCL or Tammy Abraham, maybe City would sell us Alvarez.
We need to pick up a gem from somewhere though.
